New topics page not refreshing properly

I know that the site was having a problem earlier today. For a while Bill made it so you could just get to the home page, then so only logged in members can see threads.

Maybe this is tied into it. If so, then I guess it is being worked on.

The funny thing is that when I refresh and start to read, the page refreshes itself and goes back to the old threads...ARRGHH!

It's been happening to me for about the past 4 hours or so. Keeps popping back to the page it was when all of ATS had a brain fart. I've cleared cache...logged on and off, turned computer on and off.

Hope it gets fixed soon. I know I'm missing the really good stuff with the New Topics feed in hiccup mode.

Well I guess a little break from the site couldn't hurt.

Might be a good thing to turn it off for a few hours. Get some gray matter back to sparking again...

Yeah,I tried that ,logging out for awhile,but the addiction is to strong.
I lasted 18 hours.
I wonder if they make an ATS patch for that.

Don't Worry: Be happy:After all this is a conspiracy site, and the biggest conspiracy of all is that the conspiracy site itself becomes "the" conspiracy. If you must be logged in at the moment in order to update, could it be a conspiracy to get everyone to log in? After all I have been feeling so much better since I learned that my good friend BO has my best interests in mind by following me about as I surf the net.
And now ATS seems not to work unless good ole me signs in? uh even when I did that it didn't load though.

ATS has decided some of us are trouble makers. We get the bounce back page to chase us off.

Most of the pages above the /forum/ directory are automatically generated on set periods, and often require significant server resources to create (because of their complexities). While we were troubleshooting our earlier outage problems, that factor was removed from the "overall load" equation.

All is well again. Carry on.
