since i downloaded SETI the scroll bars on websites have disapeared except for the ones on ATS. i can still scroll but the bars have dissapeared and a cant see them on most sites

SETI certainly isn't spyware, and I doubt it messed up your computer. I have been running it for years and have installed it on literally hundreds of computers without causing a single problem.
