How about even the better option: Let all of them (Iran, Israel, Iraq, Libia, etc) be and mind my own business? Why do we all care? Because we are afraid that it will become global. Let them do to each other whatever they want.
It is really only my opinion, but I would not care less if these two countries (Israel and Iran) nuked themselves quietly to the stone age without involving the rest of us.

I'm not sure if you saw the second part of my post that you responded to. It does say that they have denied it but I was waiting for an article on it because it was on the Reuters twitter page when I submitted my previous post.

I'm not saying I believe the White House, I just thought I would share their announcement.

Iran will habitually blame the US, Israel or anyone. Who was the scientist and was he a key player, or just some expendable minnow, or even someone who was getting cold feet (i.e. in need of removal).

I ask because it is well within the Iranian mindset to kill off its own to keep the hatred high and the victim status pinned squarely to the chest of the Supreme Leader himself.

Is everyone who blames the Big or the Little Satan just being strung along by a well ordered Iranian secret service who need to keep the victim status going to keep their paymasters in power.

The better option would be for all the region to be denuclearized, starting by Israel. This was why no one wanted Israel to have the bomb, even if Iran is stopped you may believe that the next attempt to get in an equal footing will not be detected, people do learn...

Put them all in a thorium nuclear cycle and there would be not issue with weapons, then we could start to by denuclearizing the rest of the world...

This of course will never happen...

Killing the only men who could make Iran a nuclear bomb sounds like pretty intelligent "modern" warfare to me. The only downside is that these men might be needed one day to give evidence against Iran's leaders, should we really be killing potential top witnesses?

I just seen this up on drudge and was forced to laugh.. This is so obviously an intelligence agency operation its scary. They can't deny it, especially after last years assassination. With all the attention on Iran, specifically there nuclear program, it doesn't seem like they would do something this bold just all out in the open. The fact that the did, "allegedly", to me shows desperation. Looks like war is inevitable unfortunately
