bombing, this will help slow down

Buying some time now is
the best option that can be taken as of now.
The thing spy movies are made of!

How about even the better option: Let all of them (Iran, Israel, Iraq, Libia, etc) be and mind my own business? Why do we all care? Because we are afraid that it will become global. Let them do to each other whatever they want.
It is really only my opinion, but I would not care less if these two countries (Israel and Iran) nuked themselves quietly to the stone age without involving the rest of us.

Denying a response is not the same as denying responsibility.

Thanks for the research.

I'm not sure if you saw the second part of my post that you responded to. It does say that they have denied it but I was waiting for an article on it because it was on the Reuters twitter page when I submitted my previous post.

Here:

U.S. denies any role in killing of Iranian nuclear scientist

TEHRAN, Iran — The Obama administration is denying any role in the killing of an Iranian university professor working at a key nuclear facility.

White House spokesman Tommy Vietor said the U.S. "had absolutely nothing to do" with Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan's death. Vietor said the U.S. condemns "all acts of violence, including acts of violence like what is being reported today."

I'm not saying I believe the White House, I just thought I would share their announcement.

Please keep in mind that the site I sourced (CTV) has a really bad habit of editing story titles and content instead of giving the updates a new URL, which is known to cause confusion.

Reuters has also updated their page:

Why would Iran kill one of their top nuclear scientist. It just does t make sense. Remember this is not the first assassination of a nuclear scientist, this is the seventh.

There is also this:

Iran should expect more 'unnatural' events in 2012, Gantz says

Iran will habitually blame the US, Israel or anyone. Who was the scientist and was he a key player, or just some expendable minnow, or even someone who was getting cold feet (i.e. in need of removal).

I ask because it is well within the Iranian mindset to kill off its own to keep the hatred high and the victim status pinned squarely to the chest of the Supreme Leader himself.

Is everyone who blames the Big or the Little Satan just being strung along by a well ordered Iranian secret service who need to keep the victim status going to keep their paymasters in power.

The scientist in question was the head of a nuclear enrichment plant.

But I'll have to confirm this.

The better option would be for all the region to be denuclearized, starting by Israel. This was why no one wanted Israel to have the bomb, even if Iran is stopped you may believe that the next attempt to get in an equal footing will not be detected, people do learn...

Put them all in a thorium nuclear cycle and there would be not issue with weapons, then we could start to by denuclearizing the rest of the world...

This of course will never happen...

So, basically not starting the war for 300 years is Iranians' clever ploy, just to set us all at ease and in fact they have been planning this all along? This comes from your statement, "killing their own to keep the hatred outwards". We have to be careful then, 300 years... patient duckers...

Pretty much of what I said: let them nuke each other back to stone age without involving the rest of the world.

All uses of nuclear weapons should be criminalized as they all constitute a crime against humanity. Any use even if restricted to the region would ultimately affect us all and cause extreme human misery.

Do you think nulcear scientists grow on trees?
Scientists of this calibre are not easy to replace.
Why kill a top man in their nuclear programme?
Think about it before you spout the usual zionist rhetoric!
We're not simpletons on ATS.

Killing the only men who could make Iran a nuclear bomb sounds like pretty intelligent "modern" warfare to me. The only downside is that these men might be needed one day to give evidence against Iran's leaders, should we really be killing potential top witnesses?

I just seen this up on drudge and was forced to laugh.. This is so obviously an intelligence agency operation its scary. They can't deny it, especially after last years assassination. With all the attention on Iran, specifically there nuclear program, it doesn't seem like they would do something this bold just all out in the open. The fact that the did, "allegedly", to me shows desperation. Looks like war is inevitable unfortunately

Looks like the new age Nazi's have murdered yet another innocent man. Hey Obama we are supposed to be fighting terrorism and this was a terrorist act. So when do we start bombing Israel.
