Lol its (2+3 square root 6)+ (4- 2 square root 5)... Good luck
*evil laugh* hahaahah

Her words exactly. Now is she looking for 5 multiplied by the square root of 6 in the first set of paranthases and 2 multiplied by the square root of 5 in the second pair? Then add those together? Is that how this works? A solution would be appreciated as well but I prefer it with an explanation so ill know how to do it in the future...

Thanks ATS in advance!

Thats assuming the equation survived those copy and pastes from there to here intact, but if it really is
(5 * √6) + (2 * √5)
then this is
12.24744871 + 4.472135955
= 16.71958

There is some uncertainly because if the equation in the original problem is actually
(2 + 3√6) + (4 - 2√5)
then the answer is different because the multiplications of the roots come first.
( 2 + 7.348) + (4 - 4.472)
= (9.348) + (0.472)
= 9.8206
