Like many of you I look on youtube alot for alternative medicine and I do have asthma...I had looked at hydrodgen peroxide in the past around cancer cures and other various illnesses. I presently use a inhaler on occassion buy ran out...I had purchased hydrogen peroxide food grade which is 35% for various personal type experiments. So I ran out of my inhalder and did not want to spend another 35.00 beans for the inhaler so I came across some older gentleman who put the peroxide in a nasal inhaler and proceeded to take some puffs off of it which was approximately 6 inhalations. Oddly enough it cleared it up very quickly and my breathing was pretty normal. The mix that I use is 15 ounces of distilled water to one ounce of 35% food grade peroxide. I read that it has to be distilled because the particulates in ready tap water may react to the peroxide...I also use the peroxide/distilled water mix on my face after I shave and it works great on acne...keep away from eyebrows and your hairline because it will change the color but I would say for acne this stuff works great...spray a light on the acne area and let it air dry..keep in mind that 35% food grade which I purchased off of amazon will buble up on your skin and burn it so be cautious..also note that if you purchase the 35% food grade you must store it in the freezer because it will degrade...the diluted mix is not refrigerated however you may want to...your call...I also spay the mix on my toothbrush when I'm done brushing to kill any bacteria and you can also use it to clean around the house....any other people have any luck with this stuff?

Try looking into MMS. It works pretty well on acne (I can personally attest to this) and many other things. Plus it's pretty cheap for a years supply.

Hey. OP. Thanks for the enlightning thread. It was indeed intresting to read. I heard baking soda is good to brush your teeth with. And it also works really well at getting rid of heart burn. I know that from personal experience.

I be very careful using hydrogen peroxide on your skin unless it is in very minute quantities. Oxygen is very corrosive and can damage the skin over time. 50ml of hydrogen peroxide per 10 litres is high enough to kill any organisms that either live in water or is dependent on water like mould algae etc.
Just be careful of using it over a prolonged period

Thanks for posting this info. Since hydrogen peroxide is one of the best cleaning agents around, it sure sounds interesting for usage on asthma, especially the way you have described its application. Will have to look that up some more. Guaranteed to have less steroids (for 1 thing) than those expensive prescribed inhalers.

Probably preaching to the choir here, but look up "cleaning with hydrogen peroxide and baking soda" you'll see how you have no need whatsoever for the super expensive and deadly commercial cleaning products on the store shelves. Nothing like a whiff of the commercial cleaning products that will close up the poor lungs quicker---

Back on track, have you tried local honey - another poster in another thread pointed out it must be local - for the pollen... try ingesting local honey, bet you notice a difference with your asthma within a few short months.

Yup baking soda works i think because of it's mild abrasive but I also pump a few puffs on my choppers before I brush my teeth...you don't want to leave any higher level of peroxide on the choppers because it can stain your teeth permanently I believe...

thanks for the information - might try it out in my breathing apparatus - if you get blood in clothing all you have to do is put a little on the stain and it eats it right out - and i don't understand why people use clorox to clean up after a blood stain to hide evidence - what a brain wash - use hydrogen peroxide - poof!

baking soda; well, it does work well on the teeth and makes the teeth white - pretty darn good stuff - not to mention it eliminates bad breath - i also attest to the almost immediate relief of heartburn - multiple uses -

How long have you been using it in your tea?
Just wondering cause a few months after I moved to honey only as a sweetener, and started using a natural body butter as opposed to the chemical-laden commercial body lotions, big change in the need for meds. Can't tell which one helped the most. Then I read online that local honey works.

Keep tryin'!

My family and I use MMS.
One of my daughter uses it for her eczema and she is a changed woman. She never wore make-up for three years before using MMS.
My wife and I , along with our friends use it for colds and Flu and it really works.
The FDA are trying to put a stop to it, claiming that it contains household bleach, which is a total fabrication and has lead people who haven,t researched MMS to believe the myth.
And as you say. It works great with Acne

Nice catch!

I have asthma myself. Any idea on how this works or what effects it has on your lungs?

I used 3% hydrogen peroxide to clean my water tank on my C-pap till my doctor told me that it was not safe.

Inhalation: May cause respiratory tract irritation. Irritation may lead to chemical pneumonitis and pulmonary edema.

avogadro.chem.iastate.edu...

I liked it because i thought it was a good antibacterial that did not need to be rinsed off after the cleaning.

Maybe my doctor is just a moron.

the Hydrodogen Peroxide articles index at Educate-Yourself

as MMS has been mentioned and its gentler than peroxide

Oxidation potential is the electrical potential that determines what an oxidizer will oxidize. Chlorine dioxide has a much lower oxidation potential than oxygen or any other oxidizer. For your information the oxidation potential (determines how active an oxidant is) of all the known oxidants ever used in the body are as follows: ozone 2.07 volts, hydrogen peroxide 1.80 volts, oxygen 1.28 volts, and CHLORINE DIOXIDE 0.95 volts. As you can see, chlorine dioxide is by far the weakest oxidizer known that can be used in the body.

Not sure but again doctors seldom read up on alternative medicine and where would the world be without doctors
They are trained to treat but not to prevent...these topics are always questionable and something we have to venture in on our own to figure things out sometimes..if someone is on the fence about this type of treatment do your homework to make informed decisions..
