Above is alink to a short youtube video also posted on another Thread entitled
Top 10 Places You are not Allowed To Visit
Credit for original posting to Seraphtide who was prompted by remarks made by Evantide

The initial part of the video speaks of the Dogon Tribe and their 5000 year old oral tradition.
There is a great in depth book called The Sirius Mystery by Robert Temple who spent much time with the Dogons learning of their traditions.
The Dogons speak of a visitation by beings from the Sirius Star System.
The video is very concise and omits certain other information such as a third star which is in fact a planet which I shall call Sirius C though the Dogons have their own name for this
Please watch this video which also deals with the Dogon knowledge of things they logicaly should not know unless indeed they were given this information by these beings.
I will endevour to answer any questions as far as my own knowledge permits.
Be open minded and be uplifted

Robert Temple never spent any time with the Dogon tribe. The entire book is based off the accounts of two french anthropologists who spent time with the Dogon in the 1920's. Have you even read The Sirius Mystery?
Carl Sagan tried to deny the consitancy of Temple's book, but in a grand rebuttle Temple wrote Sagan a response letter that was published which put's Mr. Sagan, the over-exagerrated poster boy of media whoredom-meets-pseudo-science, in his rightful place. Carl Sagan was a joke and wasn't even a real scientist, he was simply an ego and a face for the dull masses to understand the basic basics of astronomy because anything else is over the heads of most people.

Yes I have read Sirius Mystery - I admit my memory is a bit foggy as it was many years ago.
I like Carl Sagan BUT everyone is fallable and we have to seperate the wheat from the chaff.
Excuse pooer spelling as I get passionate and my fingers run away with me on the keyboard
I know others have tried to debunk Temples findings
I once attende a meeting of Astro Scientists many years ago as a birthday treat to myself but I digress.
The meeting was a talk by a Astro Scientist about White Dwarf Stars which was fascinating.
However when it came to question time I challenged the idea that Sirius B (White Dwarf Star) was only discovered in more recent times and stated The Dogons had an oral tradition of this star which was at least 5000 years old - I was completeltly stonewalled and stared at - But at the end of the meeting an old astronomer came up to me and said Ignore them for what you say is true.
