Mitt Romney - Wake up America

I am not a US citizen but like many people around the world I'm watching this election closely. The world is in economic chaos and a constant state of conflict because of decisions made in America so the world is watching to see what happens. We want to know if the American people have learnt anything or if the majority are now so brainwashed that they can't see what is blatently obvious to anyone that wants to see it.

Mitt Romney should not be getting anymore than 1% of the vote anywhere in the United States and even that is too high because he represents a far lesser number of the American people than that and it doesn't take a genious to see that. Forget what he says and look at where he comes from. This man is one of those people that should be held peronally responsible for the current Global economic mess.

Mitt Romney founded Bain Capital, a private equity firm, in 1984 (George Orwell might say a fitting year for him). Bain Capital is one of those corporations that loves a good global financial crisis because like their business partners Goldman Sachs and the Carlyle Group, after they crash the market and destroy peoples lives they then move in to pick their bones. A GFC allows them to move in and takeover all the bussineses and property they want at a fraction of their true value and then make a killing on the upturn.

Lets look at just a few of the over 200 global companies that Bain Capital acquired. Some on their own, others with a few of their mates -

2002 – Acquires Burger King in a leveraged buyout with TPG Capital and Goldman Sachs Capital Partners.
2007,– Agrees to acquire HD Supply for $10.3 billion, along with Carlyle Group and Clayton, Dubilier & Rice
2006– Joins the enlarged private equity consortium headed by KKR to acquire an 80.1% stake in Royal Philips Electronics
2008 - joins with Thomas H. Lee Partners to purchase Clear Channel Communications
- They also own Warner Music Group with Thomas H Lee and AMC Entertainment

They have even attempted to buyout all 30 teams in the national hockey league.

This is how Bain Capital describes what it does - 'Bain Capital turns a profit on floundering corporations by buying them at low cost, stripping away any projects that aren't profiting or that lack potential, and laying off any excess workers'

How could any American in their right mind even consider casting a vote for this man who is absolutely up to his ears in dirty money. He is a major player in the corporate gang that has ripped all of your countries wealth from under you and now you want to give him the keys as well? Goldman Sachs, The Carlyle Group (The Bush and Bin Laden Family investments), KKR do you know who these companies are? These are Mitt Romnies business partners.

Bain started in 1984 with $34mil of their mates money and now has over $65billion invested of what was once your money.

If the people of America fall for this scam again then Im sorry but there is no hope for you.

Tonight's going to be a bad night for this man, I believe.

The GOP establishment has tabbed Romney as the candidate from the jump. They won't allow anyone else to win. The primary is nothing but a dog and pony show.

Well now is the time for the American people to wake up, stand up and put a stop to it because this guy is not just one of their puppets, he's one of the puppet masters. I can't even understand how someone with such a clear conflict of interest can even be allowed to run for president. The guy now actually has more money invested in Chinese manufacturing companies and other companies around the world than he does in the US and he used wealth he took from the US to do so . He's not exactly going to be making decisions to save the US when at the same time he will be destroying his own empire now will he..

Are political system is a joke. Romney Gets a majority of his financing from the big tank system That is killing this country. Who in their right mind would vote for this man? Ignorant, ill-informed Americans. That's who. Too lazy or stupid to do the research on all canidates. Voting solely on what they hear on msm. This country will fail if we have four more years of the same nation building, constitution burning, war mongering, too big to fail bs that has taken this country to the brink of collapse. Ron Paul 2012!

Wow, Huntsman and Romney cousins. So thats why Huntsman is the one attacking Ron Paul - he is doing big Cuz's dirty work so Cuz doesn't have to appear negative. How conveniant.

Great info but ATS isn't the base of voters to pander this information to...I'm not even sure if I can recall one person on ATS saying they like Romney.

It is the rest of America, especially the older voters (50+) that are his main base of supporters, the age of voters that only get their news from MSM tv/newspaper/magazines.

The establishment don't care who wins as long as its either Obama or Romney, they're both funded by Wall St. anyways.

Agreed that the majority of people on ATS are aware that Romney is the chosen one of TPTB but I'm not sure if everyone understand exactly why or exactly how deeply entrenched he is. If anyone wants to try and convince any of those people that watch the MSM why Romney is absolutely the worst possible option for the US it won't be enough to say that he is the banksters candidate, we need to be able to present undeniable facts and the more know the better our argument.

Im sure that if those people saw the facts that prove that this guy is one of major players involved in the Hedge funds, market manipulation, finance and corporate terrorism that stole all their money they would change their mind quick smart. Not to mention the fact that he owns some of the biggest manufacturing corporations in China that destroyed the US manufacturing industry and how his vested interests in the Media help ensure this is all kept hush hush.

Now I just hear that the vote count is being changed so that Romney is the winner, how conveniant for him. Democracy in the US at work....pffft
