World-first hybrid shark found off Australia

I don't get it. One shark gets a little horny, sees another shark starting to look good after a few drinks and talks her into going back to his place for a nightcap. One thing leads to another and Poof, new species is born. Boy is he gonna get razzed tomorrow at the office water cooler. Everyone knows those common sharks are off limits. at least now he's got some bragging rights.

hmmmmmmmm hybrids i am sure has been happening for millions of years - we just don't always notice but sometimes see a "new" species

I would be more concerned with a Greatwhite/Bull shark.......

Both are ferocious and violent, with horrible temperments........and they get very large.......imagine a great white with even worse temper, and the capability to thrive in fresh water......

How do they know for a fact that its a Hybrid ?

it could very well be a totally new speices of shark.. after all 80 % of the worlds oceans are still unexplored ...
