In that case, OutKast - I think you're working with a lack of experience.

In MY experience, when people are frustrated with consistent stupid questions, intentional baiting, and ignorant allegations (or comparable situations for our average lives), they sometimes eventually let their frustration show, or otherwise - as Paul did here - nail the stupidity down before it can go any further when an excessive line is eventually crossed.

Has anything in Paul's public record ever suggested he's a 9/11 truther? No. He constantly preaches on the facts of why the terrorists were motivated to attack us. I would be equally insulted by the media frenzy. And you can say it's unpresidential if you want, but I'd say it's no less so than Obama whining about wanting to eat his waffle. It's a waffle, jeez. Not allegations of being a conspiracy theorist.

This article and the actual interview were nothing more than a setup. They were careful to word things just right, so that it would leave a cloud of doubt over RP.

I don't see how they are comparable...Obama was calm and cool while refusing the question...Ron Paul was irate and whiny.

OutKast, I'll apologize and will go ahead and yield this discussion to you for now. While I can understand Paul's response in light of the ridiculousness of it all, a more measured response would definitely help him. Presidents throughout history have understandably gotten upset at various silly things, but this is not what I personally would have chosen to see. And admittedly, the waffle was likely not the best of examples.

I'm tired and frustrated, leave me alone.

It's almost entertaining to watch the interviews and see the propaganda that they throw at him. Every network is guilty, CNN, ABC, MSNBC, Fox, all of them ask the same garbage questions and use the same dirty tactics.

I'm sure he was just a little upset about this interview being filled with a bunch of silly nonsense, which is the case for almost all of them. The media always brings up the newsletters that he says the same thing about every time, they always ask him about a third party run which he also answers the same each time, so I'm sure he didn't want to give them another stupid thing to waste his media time with.

Former Paul aide Eric Dondero, who worked closely with him from 1987 to 2003, recently wrote that Paul "engaged in conspiracy theories including perhaps the attacks were coordinated with the CIA, and that the Bush administration might have known about the attacks ahead of time." Dondero said that Paul believed George W. Bush planned to use the attacks as a justification for invading Iraq, which Paul vehemently opposed, and that he expressed "no sympathies whatsoever" for the 9/11 victims.

That last section, "expressed no sympathies whatsoever", is total propaganda. The idea that any person, no matter how deeply they are involved in 9/11 "conspiracy theoroies", would show no sympathy for the victims simply because of their belief of how the attacks were coordinated is light years past totally retarded.

But the Bush Administration DID know about the attacks ahead of time, government agencies of other countries warned the US about them, but they ignored the warnings. It's truly amazing how facts can be portrayed as conspiratorial nonsense just because the media spins them a certain way.

Paul is soaring in the latest Iowa polls along with former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, but in the few days ahead of the vote, he has been forced to explain a number of odd and alarming moments in his political history, including a series of racist and homophobic newsletters he produced.

Yes, that's because the media held onto those newsletters until he was surging in Iowa. They've known about them the whole time, but only brought them up once he started winning in an attempt to kill his success.

Paul insists that he didn't write or even read the offensive comments, and he walked out of a recent interview with CNN's Gloria Berger after she repeatedly asked him about them.

That's a lie! The interview was over!

Not quite sure what to think of this-if Dr.Paul is trying to keep his true beliefs about 9/11 covered up or if he really thinks the only conspiracy is the one we were fed by MSM and the Us Government.

Hey ... I am not a Ron Paul supporter, but I agree with him in the sense that the media is trying to paint him as "nutty" every chance they get. I believe him when he says he didn't write the racist newsletters...so do most people that have examined the issue objectively. And on the 9-11 thing, I get his frustration. He answered the question appropriately...NONSENSE, NO...essentially he said "enough already", stop with the silly nonsense and lets talk issues.

Again, I disagree with Ron Paul on a few critical issues and wont be supporting him for POTUS, but the man is honest and the talking heads in the media are trying to paint him as something he is not.

Get real. That's hardly a fit. He's nipping BS attacks in the bud.

And as if he's going to admit believing 9/11 truth during the debates. Even if he did or does believe George Bush knew about the attacks he's not going to say it, it would destroy his run for the highest office in the land. Let his actions after he's elected reveal his stance. A new investigation perhaps? Who knows maybe nothing, but to think he's going to admit that he supports truthers is foolish and to try to corner him into admitting it or supporting it is a clear attempt at destroying him. He knows it and intelligent people know it.

The Ron Paul haters are a joke, completely laughable. Keep trying though, you're wasting your time on fruitless efforts.

If anything Ron Paul's courage to stand up to TPTB is enough for the world to see and if he doesn't get the Presidency, he already has his place in history secured. He ain't going any where except into the history books of greatness and into the hearts of those who are inspired by a true leader.

I disagree that 911 would destoy his chances at presidency if he told the truth, because his stance on the federal reserve does that by itself, his thoughts on iran basically makes it so he has no chance, and telling the world israel has nukes is an absolute no-no. So i do not think that ron paul has a check list of what he will or will not say, i.e. I'll talk about ending the fed and being friends with iran but not anything about 911. I think ron paul honestly believes it was al qaeda because it fits with his blowback theory which does explain why troops are killed overseas but 911 is slightly different.
