To see how your candidate (or the one you want to see out of the race) is doing, here's some polling sites that you can refer to.

(general site, multiple polls)
www.realclearpolitics.com...

PPP
www.publicpolicypolling.com...

CNN's polling center
www.cnn.com...

Fox News
www.foxnews.com...

Gallup
www.gallup.com...

And last, but not least, if you want to critique methodology, Wikipedia has a nice rundown on methods and polls

I wonder if anyone keeps track of which poll is the most accurate, as far as whose polls correspond to the actual winner.

As the old joke goes "90 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot"... I am impressed by the political cross-section of polling sources you listed.

The problem with polls is they are often so slanted politically, you really do need the cross sampling like you posted to get an honest look.

OP!

I read the blog FiveThirtyEight by Nate Silver every once in a while. It's usually a pretty good rundown on the results of multiple polls and how accurate they may or may not be with various contributing factors.

For example, as of this posting (December 31, 2011), Mr. Silver shows Mitt Romney taking Iowa with just over 23% of the vote and Ron Paul coming in second with just under 19%. This projection is based on 10 different polls with different factors on how accurate and recent the poll was.

If you really enjoy number crunching or a variety of polls being considered it's a pretty cool blog.
