It might help, but it would look so fishy that even I would not be able to buy it. My money is right after the election.

I have also been one of MANY to say that he would be captured before the election.. but that time is coming up so fast that it would seem waay to fishy for something like to happen..

I think if something like that woulda happened it would have happened already, but then again we don't know it might be the TOPSTORY tomorrow morning for all we know.

First of all, if Osama bin Laden was captured or killed today, it would have the same effect on terrorism as Ray Kroc had dying for McDonald's. They have already built the franchises. Ray Kroc doesn't need to be alive to sell more McDonald's hamburgers.

I think it will. For many people that are undecided on the war and not sure whom to vote for, catching OBL would seem to justify the war, even if the terrorism doesn't end.

You have to remember that there are millions of people that are more concerned about where the next Starbucks is going to be built than politics.

But seriously.
The average american doesn't think like people here. There's nothing fishy about anything. If they say they caught him right then, then they caught him right then.

So what happens if they catch him, do they hold him in order not to look fishy? The only people who will cry foul are those who want Kerry to win. They would rather have Kerry in office than have OBL in jail.
