Looks like Ron Paul can put Iowa away. now leading by 4%. but a question still remains, even if he wins Iowa and does pretty well in New Hampshire, will he catch the attention of main stream republican conservative voters?

WASHINGTON -- The first new poll of likely Republican caucusgoers in Iowa since the Christmas holiday shows little change. Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) continues to run slightly ahead of former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney (24 to 20 percent), followed by former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (13 percent), Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) (11 percent), Texas Gov. Rick Perry and former Sen. Rick Santorum (10 percent each), former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman (4 percent) and former Louisiana Gov. Buddy Roemer (2 percent).

The automated poll, conducted by the Democratic Party-affiliated firm Public Policy Polling (PPP), was conducted on Monday and Tuesday and shows little or no change in vote preferences compared to its last survey, conducted 10 days earlier. That poll showed Paul leading Romney by three points (23 to 20 percent), with Gingrich in third (14 percent).

He'll keep it too! That is, until they run off into the woods and count the votes in their 'secret' place.

I have an email into the Iowa GOP headquarters regarding this info from Politico, about them holding the count from precincts at an undisclosed location. Not many web stories about this out there and will see if they respond.

As for the poll, it's good to see, but it won't matter unless observers are at ALL polling precincts!

Go Ron GO!!

Despite the attacks, Paul is widening his support.

It looks like it is going downhill for Ron Paul in Iowa weaskamerica.com...

Romney in the lead, and Santorum(???) second. Paul third, far behind.

There WILL BE a revolution in this country!

It will be either a Ron Paul revolution or an American revolution but either way, change is a comin'.

The old establishment is dying a slow death.
If it doesn't happen now it will happen later.
Bit it WILL happen.

People are starting to wake up from their slumber and realizing that our media has been bought and paid for as well as our Presidency,Congress,Senate, and entire Government.

The more they try and stop the train the stronger it becomes.

This is truely the greatest time to be alive in history.

You are witnessing the death of a centuries old control system.

Go Ron GO!!!!!!

The race in Iowa is getting more and more intense by the day. From the latest polls in the state, it looks to be a Paul vs Romney match for 1st, with Santorum coming in close.

Here's the latest from RealClearPolitics on the race in NH. www.realclearpolitics.com...

NH is a very Romney state, but if Paul can take a huge chunk out of Romneys numbers, it could be a pretty good blow to the Romney campaign.

South Carolina is 3rd to vote i think, and is awhile away in the month at the moment, but the candidates should be close to stepping up their ground game in that state soon after Iowa. Im not sure how everyones going to campaign in SC, but the Paul campaign already set up a TV ad for the state (although Im not sure how long these ads have been airing)

Ron Paul Campaign Announces South Carolina TV Ad Buy

LAKE JACKSON, Texas – The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign announced today that it will begin airing its celebrated prolife and veterans ads – ‘Staying on the Right Path’ and ‘He Served’ – in the key early voting state of South Carolina.

Here's one of the ads

Also, I heard that SC has always picked the nominee, but I cannot 100% verify this yet, itll take me awhile to look up previous results
