This article interested me because it is written by someone living in Japan. They speak of the uncertainties about safety and hints at the frustration the people have regarding their situation.

NPR: In Japan, Radiation Fears Reshape Lives

Nine months after Japan's nuclear accident, life in Tokyo seems to have snapped back to normal, with a vengeance. The talk shows are back to their usual mindless trivia about pop stars and baseball contracts. The date of the tsunami and nuclear accident, March 11 — known here as just 3/11 — has faded into the background. But while the horror has receded, for many of us, particularly women with families, things will never be the same. There's no getting past the fact that the nuclear accident dumped radioactive particles into the atmosphere, soil and sea. While Fukushima Prefecture in the northeast was hardest hit, radiation "hot spots" keep turning up in neighborhoods far from the accident. The latest was at a school, minutes from where I live in Tokyo. What's more, figuring out what's "safe" to consume has become all but impossible.

At my local supermarket, the familiar ritual of shopping has changed drastically. Instead of just tapping fruit or checking for spots, now I scrutinize the place of origin. "Made in Japan" used to be the gold standard. But now domestic foods are suspect, as is anything on sale. I obsessively search for produce grown as far from Fukushima as possible. There's a never-ending series of warnings about radioactive cesium in beef, tea, rice, even baby formula. There simply aren't enough radiation-detection machines to check every cargo of fish, every rice harvest, the contents of every school lunch.

The bottom line is that no one really knows how much this ongoing exposure is going to raise our risk of cancer. The true impact is still unknown, yet to be learned as the world watches. The legacy of 3/11 is to turn us all into a nation of guinea pigs.

Perhaps its because there is not much they can do but to live their lives as happily and normal as possible. Perhaps we can all use this as an example of how we should slow down and live life, as opposed to waiting for armageddon

Yeah that's a good perspective. I do, however, think they are a bit in denial. One of the people quoted says ""We cannot really leave here, unless something really bad happens. Until then, we just have to lead a regular life." Unless something really bad happens? Like a monster tsunami or widespread nuclear fallout maybe? I found that a bit... ironic. Yet I wonder, if I were in their shoes, would I have the courage to pick up and move, to start over again? I think it is easy for me, as an American, to forget that Japan is not only a country but a culture unto itself, in a way that is not true for many other countries or cultures. To leave that is to leave their heritage.

Has anyone else noticed that on 9/11 the World Trade Center bombings took place killing many and on 3/11 the Trunami hits Japan and destroys a Nuclear Reactor and kills many?...both of these dates have significant meaning in numerology which is what the Illuminaduhhs use to plan their secretive "kill our brothers because we cannot comprehend real love and were greedy" operations. I feel like both are just milestones in a larger plan to try to # # up, but what they dont know is that all they are doing is quickening the pace towards their own inevitable breakdown hehehee

I realise this is off topic, but indirectly this has a random connection. Ive just had a ‘debate‘ with an ats member in ‘are women evil‘. In my opinion i think its crazy powers that be learnt nothing from chenobyl, 3 mile etc & even fukishima is now fading into distance. Now its been released israel fired 2 missiles at a nuke plant in 1981. Where does the insanity stop & logic & reason kickin? We have efficient, safe alternatives ie: geothermal, wind, water, solar etc i always thought it would take a warped mindset 2 even consider it, let alone do it. Hows it clean energy when you got no safe way 2 dispose of refuge for starters? I also believe if you work for a system you enable the system, so are a reflection of the whole. In the debate i mentioned i found the mindset very disturbing, then it was revealed he is 1 such cog in wheel. If this is a true reflection of types of peeps we have dealing with nuke energy, then what hope does japan or any of us have? Feeling quite sick!

Well that may explain this guys mindset.. The way he was talking it wouldnt surprise me if he was illuminati.. Last time i encounted energy that dark, dude turned out 2 be a serial killer.. Prob find myself getting banned now for a strongly worded reply, but suffer fools lightly & serves me right 4 wanting 2 dig out source of that dark energy. Maybe you can swing by the thread & give me your take. Is this the type of mindset you would equate 2 illuminati? I seriously need 2 go have a shower & wash away heebie geebies. Its not so much what he said but the vibe that went with it. Not the type of character i would want working in my area any time soon, let alone with nuke power! Then again i guess i shouldnt make assumptions-its the net after all, so things easily misconstrued. Still gona take a shower tho. As for your illuminati comment shame cant ship nice jug of water from fukishima specially for them. The japanese are worthy of praise for how they are handling things. No1 should have 2 endure living like that tho!

would appreciate your take on what kind of mindset would qualify for illuminati other than delusion.. The post convo i just had really makes me wonder if this is the way a illuminati would talk & view the world...
