Hi Druid, we were not afraid at first at them. We just looked hipnotised at them and there was no fear feeling just amazement. Something like we felt really lucky to have such a view. It felt like seeing santa claus riding his sled in the night sky watching the 3 moons. However, when we noticed one of the moons starting to get nearer we entered a panic state and wanted to just run and hide. But just when we wanted to run we noticed that it was not a moon it was a planet. we actually saw it's polar cap and what looked like dark spots on it just like on the moon, when the planet came near we could tell they were actually dark blue lakes and oceans and the polar cap on it was a bit larger than ours but I could see where it ended and green colours like vegetation were visible. At this moment, when we actually saw this earth like planet we actually stopped paniking and started to gaze at it in amazement maybe to catch more features and shapes. And this even tho the planet was now covering half of the sky and was getting nearer. And just when I wanted to take a snapshot of it it bounced away from earth and started to pull away. We felt really sorry that we never got to take a picture of this earth like planet and were laughing and joking that now nobody can say that there is no life on other worlds. The second moon followed the planet and pulled away also. The fear feeling was really short as if the energy of the universe was trying to reassure us at all times that we should not be afraid. Just when fear started to be felt something new appared that replaced it with a very nice comforting feeling, like for example when we were afraid that it would crush us it suddently turned into a very beautiful planet. the feeling if I can describe it was as if you had a lifelong question and suddently you had the answer....

well i'm curious if you can give me any clues on the meaning of this

sound very much like my dream. i was trying to take a picture of the sky also all the time. my moons were in the same part of the sky one after another, with the third one closer to earth, the one that actually moved in to earth and revealed itself as a earth like planet. however my planet had no visible ring around it...

Although I will not dispute most of what you have said....you are not in a state of Death or zero brain activity when you sleep. You also could not be legally proclaimed brain dead. Your mind is always functioning as long as it gets supply of oxygenated blood and has not had trauma to the extent it can't function.

People dream for in REM rapid eye movement state at a specific wave length...and even when you are not dreaming your brain is working to keep you breathing anf heart pumping and all those other things that keep us alive.

Your dream could have meaning....or it could just be something you have seen on TV that you have forgotten ...but your subconscious never forgets anything. So....Good Luck! Split Infinity

It could be you were astrally traveling to another planet that actually had three moons, and your mind compensated by "adjusting" you back.

Without more details I'm at a loss.

Care to add your emotional state? Were you afraid of the three moons? Did they seem "real"? How did your GF react?

I have thought of this. My belief is that all matter is linked and connected. I take it literally the phrase "we are all made of stars". I believe that that God is not the God of the human religions but a force that governs all forces of the universe. And all matter is formed of molecules, basicly we and everything around us is a manifestation of energy, thus we are all linked and we sometimes manage to communicate with other molecules. However, if there is such a planet it is simply beautiful.

Where is my biblical Joseph (son of Jacob) to interpret my craziest dreams???

Well, I'm not Joseph, but I've gotten pretty handy over the years with dream interpretations. I've done several here on ATS. The basic premise is that the mind works in mysterious ways, and dreams are representations of a reality that only exists within our minds.

I have vivid and movie length dreams all the time. For me, knowing the elements that occur within them helps me to understand why I think such things.

Do you have any of your dreams posted here already? Care to share a link? I'd like to peruse them, and offer my interpretations.

Druid, I may have mentioned one or two of them in the dream forum, when I see something that reminds me of them, I tell a lil about them. Though, any that "may" be here, they are no where near as clear as they should be. If you're willing to read into them, be my guest. I feel that Ive got a grasp on them, I just dont know what. Kinda like knowing something you just dont know or cant bring it to light.

I would love to share them, but it will take some time to hammer them out. Tell you what, when I get my days off here in a few (wed) I'll look into detailing a thread just for these specific dreams. They are all very similar in nature, and always the same kind of events, but some diffrences in many of them makes each of them unique from the other. Out of all of them, I can tell you, 2 of which have happened to me the next day to 2 days after exactly (but metaphoricly) as the dream. Those 2 still give me chills. Funny thing, I made it a point to tell some people about them the same morning. When I came back and said what happened a few days later, I got astonishment, but some. Alot of people in south louisiana believe in many of the things that other people would not even give a second thought to... oddly enough, I believe many of them! For someone who's such a realist as myself... I just cant shake this.

So now I await the other dreams to take place because I know they will. I dont know why, but they will. Most of them I believe are personal dreams.. Events that are meant for me. It's just very strange how they have all in part come to pass, while I wait to realise one day that yet another part of the dream has taken place.. but only part. It's aggrivating because it seems like it takes a life time for all of those dreams to part themselves out to finality. Very strange indeed.

Anyways, for the sake of work, I'll get with you soon. I would love to hear your take on them.

Here you go: (Sorry for the delay, but it's the holiday, and had to visit relatives.)

When doing a dream analysis, I like to pick out the specific elements in the dream that relate to what you are dreaming about. Oftentimes, it's something quite different than what you would think.

1. You were out walking with the GF.
2. You perceived it getting brighter.
3. You saw three moons.
4. One celestial body morphed.
5. It approached you. You were shocked.
6. When you wished to capture it on film, it faded away.
7. Overall sense of well-being.

My interpretation:

You are contemplating marriage and/or having a child together with your girlfriend. Taking a walk in your dream signifies your journey through life, and spending it with someone you care about. If, per se, you were sitting on a bench, that would mean you are stationary or stagnant in your relationship. You were out walking, when you realized the sky getting brighter. The brightness or lights in a dream usually means positive feelings, and looking up denotes moving forward into the future. Seeing three moons indicates not only you and your GF, but also a third individual, such as a child. Due to the fact that the one object got closer to you means that it is an idea that you are seriously considering, and after a brief shock as your mind was contemplating the possibilities of a family, you saw that such an idea was very beautiful and breathtaking. As you tried to take the picture, and make it a reality, the celestial body faded from you, but your mind was telling you it's a path you need to follow in order to achieve it. The laughter shared with your GF after the encounter showed that you feel you would be happy with such an outcome.

Hope I was able to provide some insight. The real meaning is up to you to understand.

I'll be looking forward to reading about them. Very interested. It seems like you almost are having the premonition style dreams, a strong sense of deja vu, so to speak. Let me know when your thread is up, ok?

As I thought. There's a gas giant in the 47 Ursae Majoris system, that's blue with a small blue ring. The coincidence is striking. Too bad you don't post dreams, as I would really enjoy reading about yours. Thanks for sharing that much.

So why I'm writing this here... well it's the second most weirdest dreams I have ever had in my life and the funny part is that I can recall every bit of it... so here it goes..

The dream started with me and my girlfriend walking in the city close to a big park in the evening and we noticed that it was a lot brighter than usual ouside and when we look up to see if there is a full moon we suddently notice 3 moons. I told my girlfriend that it must be some weird reflection phenomena but when we started to look closer at the moons one was a bit closer than the other two and appeared to be getting nearer. So i decided to take out my phone and take a couple of shots of this when we noticed that the moon that seemed to be getting closer was actually getting really close now and was was astonishing about it is that now, being much closer to us it was actually not just white as our regular moon but it appeared to be facing us with what looked like our north pole, with seas and oceans surrounding the ice and there was even a bit of green lower from the ice.so we started to panic as we noticed it gettin really close to our planet and getting bigger and bigger and when i finally decided to take a snapshot of it it looked like it hit a spring, deviated and started to pull away, becoming more and more small untill it finally dissapeared. actually the second moon also dissapeared soon after that and than i woke up.

I actually checked my phone first thing when i woke up to look for the pictures but obviously there were no pictures of this
). what is funny is that i can precisely remember all the shapes of the polar cap of that planet, with the lakes and oceans.

so what do you guys think this dream means? thanks

The first two moons were your previous loves. This third moon that was getting closer and closer and morphing into Earth at spring is your new girlfriend. As you get closer to her, she becomes more appealing to you and revives you, like spring. But when you sought to capture her with your camera, she backed away. The message is that if you want to keep this girl, don't try to control her.

3 Moons could refer to a time reference of 3 months.
Perhaps it is a head's up for something happening at that time.
If you have any other (more specific) dreams please share them.
