Russia - can they strike terrorist bases worldwide?

sensible argument and one i can't fault. The funny thing is the US in some ways is too blame for much of its overseas problems through poor choices in the past. Heres hoping the russians come in on the war on terror in a unified approach and dont go down a 'our own agenda' road.
