Well at first, it definitely appeared to be a rocket to me. It didn't really look like a jet or any kind of toy (I agree that it appears to be moving
quite slow, but that could just be an optical illusion). But does Australia launch rockets of any type? I honestly don't know. It's hard for me to
tell if it's going straight up or if it's traveling horizontally through the air because the camera bounces around and shifts position so much. It
appears that the rocket plume (or whatever that source of light is) is on the bottom, so if it is traveling horizontally, that would mean it's flying
sideways, which obviously doesn't make sense. I really hate how the quality of the video goes downhill halfway through, becoming dark and extremely
compressed.
I will say one thing, at one point, the shape of the dark section of the object, which appeared to almost have a diamond-shape to me, combined with
bright source of light that seems to be coming from the bottom really reminded me of the description of the Cash/Landrum UFO.
If this was some kind of rocket/missile launch, it should be pretty easy to find out, assuming it wasn't a covert launch (which I doubt).
