I am not to savvy in the rocket or missile field of stuff and this perhaps could be one, so I thought I would bring it here to get those who are more informed in field to comment on.

To me (uneducated guess), it appears to be moving to slow to be a rocket or missile, as I would be expecting them to be traveling quite a bit faster. Also, you can clearly see the object that is making the fire.

It's a good video, even if it is just a missile.

Any thoughts?

Wow, ok thats pretty interesting!
It seemed like it was moving sideways, at a right angle to the downward direction of the 'Flame?'
and it seemed to be moving relatively slow as well.

i'd love to know what that was!

my gut tells me that it's something we've made as opposed to anything of an e.t origin.
C'mon ATSer's let's get some opinions here, this is some pretty awesome footage of, well, whatever the hell it is.

Well right off the back, at :10 seconds the object appears to cross over, and not behind the power-lines. plus the guy seems to be acting.

also every-time it passes through the power-lines, he zooms in and out to knock it out of focus..

Its just under 1400 kilometers from an United States HAARP base
other than that I have no idea
weird to say the least and a very profound video
Slow and steady moving, almost like its being controlled.. but you would have to say its very large, bigger then any civilian rocket by far

Well at first, it definitely appeared to be a rocket to me. It didn't really look like a jet or any kind of toy (I agree that it appears to be moving quite slow, but that could just be an optical illusion). But does Australia launch rockets of any type? I honestly don't know. It's hard for me to tell if it's going straight up or if it's traveling horizontally through the air because the camera bounces around and shifts position so much. It appears that the rocket plume (or whatever that source of light is) is on the bottom, so if it is traveling horizontally, that would mean it's flying sideways, which obviously doesn't make sense. I really hate how the quality of the video goes downhill halfway through, becoming dark and extremely compressed.

I will say one thing, at one point, the shape of the dark section of the object, which appeared to almost have a diamond-shape to me, combined with bright source of light that seems to be coming from the bottom really reminded me of the description of the Cash/Landrum UFO.

If this was some kind of rocket/missile launch, it should be pretty easy to find out, assuming it wasn't a covert launch (which I doubt).

Err that's not a HAARP base...

And you missed a real obvious one here too, at least more obvious than your "HAARP base"

It's like 10km from the naval base.

Not a missile, or rocket, there is no such facility to launch them in the area.

What set's off some alarm bells for me is all the other "UFO" sightings he has had, I have to wonder how just one person can see all these UFO's and no one else does.

Yeah, since it definitely appears in front of the power lines, it's probably a bad pixel cluster in the optics of the camera. As more and more people throw their cheap cameras around, a small percentage are going to get defect artifacts in the shots. I have a camera that happens to. It's not the identical artifact as this, but close enough to make me think that could be an explanation in this case.

Very wrong, it has nothing to do with HAARP, and all US personel were withdrawn in 1993, it is currently run by civilians....

as to the "UFO" this explanation from the link seems to be what it is.

"but this looks like a small LED torch suspended from somthing then filmed with dramtic camera movement and poor visability."

The appearance of being in front is an optical illusion, the out of focus picture plus bright light makes the object 'bleed' over the power lines.

Some say it is, secrative non the less
I know of the naval base but they arent going to be launching rockets.. the exmouth base is the only one in WA who could be doing such things.

Where would they launch from in Exmouth?

Besides that, it wouldn't be visible from there anyway.

Maybe it was something launched from the Baldivis explosives reserve, Mythbusters style.

Well, whatever it is, it clearly moves in front of two power lines at :26. If it is a launch with flame, there would be a smoke trail and a lot of thunderous noise at that range. Bad acting too. Someone at the end is nearby doing dishes instead of gawking at UFO. "Look honey, come look at what is up there! I got it on Tape!"

Tilted to the baloney side. Good find Pred. Keep bringing the good ones! ( So I don't have to )

I dont know, its just that it was the only possible base in WA.. I know its not in eyes view but I was just eliminating posibilites, because I find with videos like this on ats it becomes a mosaquie of information and debunking so its good to cover all bases (excuse the pun)
I highly doubt this was civilian, but I guess its always possible.. Seems to large in my opinion
