Not really. It was a weak attempt to equate the behaviour of a single Christian (of which we are not even sure he is) with all Christians, as being on par with the consistent criticism of anti-social behaviour perpetrated by some Muslims who emigrate into a country (often a Western nation) whose culture they do not intend to adapt to.

Not really... it's basically the same thing that's done time and time again when people try to equate a small, nutty group of radical Muslims with Muslims in general.

The same kind of thing would be to say that because many Catholic priests abuse kids and because this Christian raped a kid, that all Christians are child abusers and child rapists.... that would be the same thing.
