Being a strong former Cain supporter I never imagined myself ever supporting RP. I use to spend my time along with my other conservative acquaintances constantly bashing Paul calling him every name under the sun from isolationist to crazy. As I watched more videos of him speaking the more I liked, it was as of somebody switched the light on. Now here I am supporting him!

It's not the easiest message to understand, but once you start to get it, it never leaves you.

Congrats on your decision

I just hope that the magic hand of libertarianism takes care of every one of you that are making just enough to get by.

Ron Paul is probably the best candidate in America. As much as I don't like most of his policies he'd be the best for the job out of all of the people running. As a socialist, I would probably even vote for him if I lived in America, all the others are far more scary and useless.

If only America had properly left to right politics rather than right and slightly more right.

It would be something like "Well we shouldn't be responsible for his health care, even if he doesn't have enough money"

Something vague like that which totally deflects the questions that were being asked to him.

If you're going to post something, at least post the whole thing.

Well, ObamaCare doesn't even provide health care, it's just a law that says you are required to go out and buy health insurance (if your company does not provide it to you) or you breaking the law and owe fines to the government. Last time I checked, health insurance premiums for a single (HEALTHY) individual were close to $5,000 / year (according to www.usatoday.com...) . Unhealthy individuals or smokers can expect to pay upwards of $8,000 PER MONTH. Is that your alternative?

Or do you suggest that the government pays to provide everyone health insurance? Hey, in a strong, economically sound country (that Ron Paul proposes) that might be possible. But in our current debt-ridden, bankrupt, business owner's worst nightmare of a country right now, the government trying to come up with the money to give every citizen health care would destroy the country. Imagine the average health insurance premium per year for a healthy individual of $5,000, multiply it by the US population of 307,006,550, and you come up with a minimum of 1.53 TRILLION dollars the government would have to pay yearly to pay for our health care. What's the point of having health insurance if you have no country to live in?

This is where I'm baffled by liberals though. If the government is paying for our health care, they are getting it from our tax money. they don't just come up with it from thin air. So, basically the government is taking money from us, then paying for our health care? Why not just end taxes or lower taxes, and have people pay for their own healthcare? Answer: Lazy Americans.

I had already forgotten all about Cain, and so i mistakenly read McCain... If you had gone from McCain to Ron Paul, someone would've had to switch on a light the size of the sun.

Congratulations though, and welcome to the bright side!
