People need to realise there is only one decent candiate with respect and worth respect in this race. Anyone who thinks otherwise has a real brain problem and should visit a psychiatrist as soon as possible.

Thanks for your input. I didn't mean this to turn into a pro / anti Israel thread. His comment on calling them an invented people raised my eyebrow. I should've known better.
There are both sides to the argument, but it's not my place. I do hope they can find peace and a way to live together.

As for Newt...he is slimey and the media will jump all over this.

Zionists have deluded the world into believing Palestine never existed until Great Britain carved it out of Ottoman empire, after taking it from the Egyptians. I think the Palestinian people are tired of getting knocked around like a ping-pong ball by IDIOTS from the West - specifically people like Gingrich.

The Canaanites were actually the first significant population that occupied the area in question today.
Your argument might hold more water, if it were an accepted fact that whomever occupied an area of land in the ancient past should still occupy that today. Of course, that would mean the America should be turned back to the ancient Indians that occupied it, before the Europeans came and kicked them out. By the same logic of yours, since Europe was originally settled by humans out of Africa, we should turn Europe back to Africans.

Nothing that you have tried to argue can refute the fact that it was the UN, and a majority of those nations that belonged to the UN in 1947 decided to divide the land up into an Arab and a Jewish part.
I suggest you direct your ire to the UN, or perhaps go all the way back to Abraham, and the fact that one of his sons, Ishmael, became the father of the Arab peoples, while Abraham, and his son Isaac, became the progenitors of the Jewish people.
Come to think of it, this entire fight between the Arabs and the Jews, is a fight among family members.
I suggest you let the family settle it.

I'm sure you didn't. The MSM did that, on CNN, and other networks this morning, by jumping on that comment of his, and broadcasting their usual one-sided reporting of the facts,
Again, I have no use for Newt, either, but too many people, unfortunately take the word of the MSM as fact, and never bother to investigate the history of issues.
It is, in my opinion, the main reason that Ron Paul, is not leading in the polls. If people REALLY understood what he is trying to do, and how he is proposing it, he would easily win the nomination, and the election.
Too bad that will not be allowed to happen.
Ron Paul is too much of a threat to the MSM and the military/industrial complex that makes it money off the death and destruction of these manufactured wars.

Yes, Newt is not very smart for even making a comment like that and I should've left it at that. They will turn this into the usual circus they like to create.
As far as RP. He will win Iowa. I've been following this very closely and the polls are not accurate. He has a chance to be the Cinderella Kid and we need him.

"Hatred" for stating the obvious? There's hatred at work here all right - it's motivating those who are driving out Palestinian families from their homes they've lived in for generations by an occupying force who are literally driving them from their land.

Yours is the typical knee-jerk reaction towards anyone who points out Israel's naked aggression against Palestinians - you label them anti-Semites or "hating" Israel.

You say the UN is at fault for first carving Israel out of Palestine, and while that is true, Israel itself has gone beyond those UN boundaries. Had they abided by the original UN lines, 10's of thousands of Palestinians would still be living in their own homes. Even now Israel used bulldozers and Uzis to drive Palestinian Arabs from their ancestral lands. It was a mistake for the British to interfere in the 1800's, it was a worse mistake for the UN to forcibly create this state in the 40's, just as it would be a mistake, like some neo-cons think, to carve a Palestinian state out of Jordan or Syria.

Actually, you act as if Israel starts the aggression. In fact, it was the other way around. Take a history lesson:

In 1947, the newly formed United Nations accepted the idea to partition Palestine into a zone for the Jews (Israel) and a zone for the Arabs (Palestine). Almost immediately, Israel was attacked by Arab nations that surrounded in a war that lasted from May 1948 to January 1949.

Fantastic, the WORD existed in the 5th century BCE. So what? It has nothing to do with a country, or an organized nation.

Actually, I never said that, because that would be illogical, since both Arabs and Jews are Semitic.

As for your other claims of Israel's "aggression", I suggest you research some history concerning all of the rocket attacks on Israel's civilian population, as well as all of the bombs left in civilian populated areas, markets, restaurants and even Synagogues by those you claim are the "innocent ones".

I can see from your tone that facts mean nothing to you, but you just wish to rant on and on about the "Zionists" and how they control the world, and how they can even convince the entire world that "Zionists have deluded the world into believing Palestine never existed".
