If you find a wallet full of $,would you leave it there?

I'm very pleased to see we have some people with morals and ethics on this website! I tip my hat to all of you that would return the wallet. I found a purse once, and found the owner and returned it. The look of relief on her face when I returned it was my payment. It made me feel good. That's why good will always prevail over evil. Nice thread.......

I'll keep the money to spend on whatever I please, and burn the wallet.

I would take EVERYTHING out of the wallet and put it in an envelope, I would then send those items to the person who hopefully has his or her address in there.
I keep the empty wallet, this way they have still lost "something" and perhaps they will be more careful next time.

Honestly, in all seriousness... the cash is mine.

The wallet and ID are going to the police.

Lesson learned, important and sensitive articles are returned.

Judge me if you want to, but that's my answer.

Id give it back there's prolly only a couple hundred maybe 500 dollars in it anyway that's not near enough money to think about stealing. Id try to return it.
