Fox News: Holder Suggests 'Fast and Furious' Guns Will Be Used in Crimes for 'Years to Come'

Attorney General Eric Holder suggested Thursday that weapons lost during the course of the failed "Fast and Furious" gunrunning operation will continue to show up at crime scenes in the U.S. and Mexico "for years to come."
Holder, in testimony on Capitol Hill that comes as the congressional investigation into the program expands, decried the "gun-walking" tactic used in the operation as "inexcusable" and "wholly unacceptable." But a day after an influential senator called for the resignation of one of Holder's top deputies over the scandal, Holder denied department leaders played any role in the crafting of "Fast and Furious."

He continued to assert that top Justice officials were not told about the "inappropriate tactics" until they were made public.

[Updated 1:16 p.m. ET] A police officer has been shot on or near the campus of Virginia Tech, the university's website says. A possible second victim is reported down in a parking lot and the suspect is at large, the website says.

Latest update I've seen about the shooting claims the officer that was shot has succumbed to his wounds.

The suspect has been aprehended "with his hands up" in the performing arts building according to Fox News.

If it were to serve as a distraction or even a blood-soaked counter-point it would be something more notorious than a jacked up nut shooting a cop during a traffic stop.

He'd be rampaging through the locked-down school buildings as we speak.

That shooting isnt the only one is the past hour let alone the day and simply being within proximity to VT doesnt really mean anything.

Atleast Fox News won't let Holder slide.

So apparently there are more shots fired now.

After the suspect has been supposedly "arrested".

Apparently, the person Fox News thought was the suspect wasn't really the suspect...

And I just received an alert from AP that another victim besides the downed officer has now been confirmed dead.
