Well, first of all you raise a very good point because from verses 32 to 33 Jesus is clearly talking about the signs of the end times. But I’m not
sure what Jesus meant by the term, “this generation”. In our modern day vernacular, we think of a generation as being a family life span;
somewhere in the region of 70-80 years or maybe even a century.
I was thinking about this last night and wondering if it simply means, a family generation. i.e. a generation in terms of a family lineage. In which
case, Adam would be the beginning of the generation, and we would either be in the end or middle, depending on how you view the end time
prophecies.
It all depends on how you view the phrase “this generation”. So while I don’t know if the OP is correct, I still think it could be a
possibility.
