Comcast last night showed pictures of lights going above I think phoenix on top of a hill, the lites were going straight across. I seen this one before, is it just me or does E.T. like Arizona. Maybe because the land is flat or it is always dry in Arizona.

The western portions of the U.S. are interesting to contemplate when it comes to the UFO mystery. So many contactees--especially the initial outpouring--had their experiences in the 'deserts' of the southwest.

Then there's all that atomic testing that went on out there not to mention cattle mutilations, Area 51, and a tremendous amount of sightings.

A further clue might be found in the fact that the southwest is--and pretty much always has been--a hotspot for new age teachings and practices.

Before that, the indigenous desert folk have been relating their experiences with this 'other-world' and it's inhabitants for generations.

Those are just a few quick points about the American S.W. and UFOs" but there is soooo much more. If it picks up here, I'll dig some of it up.

Flat? Umm, Tucson is surrounded by mountains. The Santa Catalina mountains (Mount Lemmon) to the north rises 9,157 feet. The Rincons to the east rise 8664 feet. Santa Ritas to the south at 9,453 feet. Tucson mountains to the west at 4,687 feet.

Phoenix has Camelback mountain, the Superstitions close by, and a few others.

Guess I never considered Arizona flat at all...

You are correct sir; in point of fact The Phoenix metroplex is located in a valley surrounded by mountains...which is why it is called the valley of the sun. Getting back on post, the Phoenix area has long been a hub of UFO activity going back to the 50's;

Regarding the Phoenix Lights: the lights that are shown in all the TV videos are actually, (I believe) flares that were dropped by the Air Force as a cover story for the real activity which started almost two hours earlier with the reported sightings of "Giant Triangular-Shaped" UFO's that were seen all over Northern and Central AZ that night.
