MOVIES: what would you write your one about?

End of the world?
Spies?
World peace?
Love?
Death?

I would probaly write one about End of the world. It would be loosly bassed around the politics between China and America, and Iran and Israel nad how it all escelates. but more than the politics it would be bassed around normal people like you and me and how they have to survive in war time before the apocoliptic 2 megaton nuclear attack on some major cities around the world, mainly London because that's where I live. And how they have to survive fallout and the way they go about doing it, before finding a small fallout shelter and then learning to survive and adapt to a new method of living life such as defending your shelter, going into town to get suplies without trying to get followed, ignoring other millitary presence, trying to keep a suply of electricity, trying to find other people like you but ones that arent corupt and that want to kill you and take your stuff and rape the women, finding weapons to defend youself, and eventually about getting a good set of people with good skills together to find a new fallout shelter that support all the people that you have met and traded with so you can start an underground base for say about 15/20 people and that we make a green rooom for growing food (uncontaminated) bedroom, armory, a sotre room where there just bits like laptops and as many battries as me could find, electricians/electronics work place 2 electricians and the electronics guy and a HAM radio station so we can acually start finding out what haperning since the nuclear attack since all radio have just been playing a emergency beacon that is never updated then finally get a global update of what has been happerning, and to see if anyone is doing anything about it. And then we find out someone is, and a big thing is about to happen...

That is pretty much the plot, i havent done the ending yet! but if you where to write a film.

What would the story be about?

Vampire movies are popular right now.
It seems to me that while most vampires wouldnt care much about the human world, there would be a small number that do. Any vampire with an interest in world politics could asassinate any world leader they choose.
Thus there would be the "Vampire Secret Service" to defend the president.

Basically its just an action movie with explosions and chase scenes... with vampires.

I would want to write an AMAZING zombie movie. Actually, I think you just inspired me to start!
If not a movie, I'll atleast have a Dollar Store book deal.

Actually this reminded me of something I wrote many years ago.



MINIONS

ACT 1

Int. Minion Retirement village.

Two retired minions playing cards, the old TV has been broken since the last election.

New retiree woman KATE arrives.
The two men (ANDY, BILL) and KATE tell tales of the super villans they used to work for.
KATE has regrets that she never succeeded in working for any successful villan. Because they
failed, she also considers herself a partial failure. A lifes work incomplete. As she just worked in the
accounts department, considers that she didnt do anything important anyway.
KATE wants to work again. The two men remind her that she's new here, this topic comes up every few days,
there are no supervillans in the world today. ANDY also states that its evil anyway.
ANDY has now gone straight, and will never lead a life of crime again. Wants redemption. To make amends or
atone for a life of minion crime.


New retiree ROGER arrives. (Looks like Roger Delgado)
Has been in a coma for a few decades. Resentful that his insurance company has classified him as 'minion'
and placed him here since he says he is supervillan NOVASTAR of the 1970's.
ROGER tells take of when his fortress was invaded by FBI, he (disguised) fell through hole in floor into the minion cafeteria
and thats where he was found.
NOVASTAR is officially missing, presumed dead in the fortress fire.

KATE and ANDY become friends. They visit other residents including MARY, who is hooked up to a ventilator 24 hours a day.

ACT 2

NOVASTAR is recruiting for new evil plan. Says he has a backup fortress that he bought cheap in the 1960's.
"...an old hippie commune. Nobody else wanted to clean up the mess."


KATE and BILL go with him.
ANDY stays behind. KATE promises to keep in touch.

[many scenes at new fortress as equipment is purchased and plan assembled.]

The plan is secret, NOVASTAR refuses to divulge.
NOVASTAR has evil bitch of niece also working there, with KATE.
Equipment purchased is powerful lasers (including the new Gigalaser 5000), computers etc.
KATE is happy that she gets to handle BIG equipment including the power supply system to the lasers.
Niece runs the actual lasers and guidance system.


NOVASTAR finally reveals plan.
To use lasers to reflect off satellites and back to earth destroying electricity plants.
Since the reflected light with short burst comes back off the satellite, he states that his fortress will be unable
to be tracked by authorities.
Blackmail, profit, so forth.

KATE meets with ANDY. Tells a little too much (destroy power plants, Gigalaser 5000) due to her
enthusiasm for the sure to be successful plan. She now considers herself to be a winner, on the
winning team.


ANDY is appalled. NOVASTAR must be stopped. But how?
Police think he's a nutter. NOVASTAR is dead. Police dont believe a word of his insane tale.
He tracks down EXSUPERHERO.
EXSUPERHERO cant be found at home, but is across the street playing baseball with the neighbours son.
Rather good pitcher, very accurate as it turns out.

EXSUPERHERO says his life is a lie. He never really caught famous supervillan all those years ago, that made him
famous. He meant to parachute into minorvillan's fortress but got blown off course. A series of comical
accidents while trying to escape supervillan, made everyone think he caught supervillan. Not true.
EXSUPERHERO has severe confidence problem.
Nevertheless, he is talked into it, with ANDY.

EXSUPERHERO calls Gigalaser, pretends to be NOVASTAR to complain about lack of delivery of Gigalaser 5000.
Gigalaser company tells him shipping address. This is of course NOVASTAR's fortress.

ANDY and EXSUPERHERO initially cant get in,
but use EXSUPERHERO's tranquiliser gun to shoot delivery driver (Wilhelm's Blenders), and
get in that way.
Captured after chase... hiding... chase. and thrown into cell.

KATE brings them dinner, but says she cant do anything to help them get out.
ANDY tells KATE of the damage that a power blackout will cause. Including death of MARY.
KATE doesnt listen. Says that NOVASTAR has told her the weapon wont actually be used, but just will be
used as a threat. That they wont need to use it, governments everywhere will cave in to demands.
KATE leaves.

Its all over now. Friend KATE has gone to the dark side, no hope of rescue and its clear that the
plan of destruction is only moments away from being activated.

ACT 3.


EXSUPERHERO regrets not calling the police again, now that they have more information about NOVASTAR.
'doh.' They werent searched! They still have phone and tranquiliser gun, but tranquiliser gun has only one shot.
EXSUPERHERO sends email to police, FBI, newspapers, TV stations etc...

KATE learns that NOVASTAR actually does plan to use weapon to destroy power stations! About 20 of them!
About an hour from now!

KATE, now convinced this has all gone horribly wrong and overboard, returns to ANDY and EXSUPERHERO to talk about
their escape.
KATE is givent he tranquiliser gun, but reminded it has only one shot.

Just moments away from activation, KATE shoots evil bitch niece with tranquiliser gun.
Stating 'medical emergency' KATE runs off to 'get help'.

KATE overloads electrical power to the fortress, place goes dark, cell doors open, ANDY and EXSUPERHERO escape.
Just as NOVASTAR is about to kill KATE, EXSUPERHERO picks up baseball sized object and thows... hits NOVASTAR.
NOVASTAR is out cold.
POLICE, everyone else arrive.
KATE and ANDY escape, leaving EXSUPERHERO to take all the glory. He is now finally a real hero.

POSTSCRIPT


Back at the the retirement village, new widescreen TV arrives. "Delivery from NOVASTAR."
KATE states "well, I did used to work in accounts, you know."

Mine would play out like a teen movie. High school kids and their drama building up to prom or something like that, and I would hire a director who makes those kinds of films. After it was done, I would trash that directors ending and hire a new director who works more in the thriller/action or horror stuff. I would go back through the movie from the beginning and add things in the background that would tell it's own story. Paper headlines and tv news in the background always advancing a plot line about political unrest growing, but always nearly unnoticeable and in the background. Never focused on or zoomed in on or anything. Then the new ending would be just before the prom or whatever the climax of the teen movie was, the main characters door gets kicked in by riot gear police and escort them all to fema camps.

I posted this for review. It is something I am working on and would love to see it eventually turn into a movie. So, to answer your question.
My movie would be about an ordinary individual that rises to hero status only to fall and possibly be redeemed. Epic story of demons, power, love, betrayal, destruction and redemption. Just might not be the "hero". I won't give away everything lol.

Okay, one more.

Here's my zombie movie:

A small group of zombies are created (take your pick how) and they make an organization with a plan to take over the world. They meet at a Hilton banquet room every Wednesday, and the head Zombie explains to the others (specifically any newly recruited or bitten people) that they too can have the lavish zombie existence he enjoys. All they have to do is each go out and bite two people. It's that easy. You bite two people, and each of those two bite two more, and you get partial credit for those bites. Well, those four each bite two more and on and on until you are responsible for turning a great percentage of humans into zombies and you win like a golden brain or something that zombies want.

AHHAHAHA love it! thats a good point, no one ever puts the zombies in a good light? mabey they just want to live a normal life like us! just a shame they have a passion for human flesh
