Many former US intelligence officials and Iran experts believe last month’s explosion at a military base near Tehran was part of a covert effort by the US, Israel and other states to disable Iran’s nuclear and missile programs, The Los Angeles Times reported late Sunday.

intriguing report by a mainstream news source the LA times it does not give any evidence of a US or Israeli involvement in the attacks, they base their theory on what an Ex CIA officer Art Keller, believes,

“We definitely are doing that,” the report quotes Art Keller, a former CIA case officer who worked on Iran, as saying. “It’s pretty much the stated mission of the (CIA’s) counter-proliferation division to do what it takes to slow Iran’s weapons of mass destruction program.”

the report highlights the US and israel goal to hinder Iran's Nuclear hopes and shows that is what is happening in Iran now..

is this report a notch up on the heat for war? I think so soon I am betting we will find new evidence and come clean with the attack plans that are already written on Iran.

Definitely a skillful use of words. If you really think about it, conducting such covert attacks is done with the aim of provoking Iran into developing such weapons to defend themselves (if not just by deterant force), which would justify the West's claims of Iran's WMD program.

Would Iran be further ahead of its accused production of nuclear weapons if such covert operations were not happening, as this CIA guy claims? I seriously doubt they would even have a nuclear weapons program.
