OMG this is fantastic!!! Thanks for pointing me here, BH.

Yes, we have very similar taste and overall "vision".....

love the combos you chose.

One of the most awesome houses I've ever been to is in a little farm town of outside Oslo, Norway. The property was owned by an elderly lady (in whose farmhouse I stayed), and her adult son (the boyfriend of my friend - incidentally, this was all horse-based activity) was an artist.

The guy was in his 30s (we all were), and he had built this house with basic hand tools. All hand-crafted. Literally. No power tools at all.

It was fanfreakingtastic. His name was Odd Saethre, and he is an artist. I have several of his original works (two water-colors and an oil) - all land- or seascapes. Beautiful. Anyway -
I'll dig out my pics of that house and post them.

That's a lovely mural, thank you for sharing.

I would get rid of the torche light on the left and hang a black mobile made of leaves or figurative birds. That would blend the transition from salmon to green better and incorporate the black wrought iron look of the tree better as well.

But yes, I'd paint a tree on my wall if I didnt already have dozens of paintings in the way
