No Im only asking this because several denominations hate Catholics and do not see the catholic church as christian
Fugtive soul put it better then I did by giving an example where several denominations would endorse this person.
I hope the op is not making the mistake that all who call them selves Christians follow the pope or the Vatican.
There are over 20,000 sects of Christianity.
Catholic,Coptic, orthdox, Lutheran, Baptist, Pentecostalism, Evangelical.........................on and on

I would judge everything said on my own moral beliefs. I would not jump off a bridge if someone told me to, but I probably would respect everyone their own beliefs, if told. You ask a moral question with no reference of morality allowed in the answer.

I think that I don't think I can believe anything anymore that I see on TV in the digital age. From now on, I'm just watching B/W reruns.

Having said that, if some guy comes on TV and tells me he is the son of God, I will whip out my check book and send an offering right away so I can get a blessing and a bottle of holy water. Do I make that out to the Vatican?

Good answer... and the right answer, if I'm correct in guessing that the OP was searching for people who choose morality over zealot practices.

huh, what the heck did you just say?Is it possible you coulkd be full of more confusion than when you started this thread?
Double-minded much?
Dude, you are a victim of television overdose.
Turn it off allready, yet it might be too late.
A bot could do a better job at slamming Christians...or theists...or catholics or whatever you are transforming into as the programs you watch change.
Dude, you need a sabatical.
You cannot even come up with something tangible in your pursuit of trying to look clever.
Utter fail. I think what we have here is a tell.
I see transference and projection, a window into a very strabge and confused mind as you squirm around waiting for a cheerleader to bail you out of one of the worse attempts at formulating a troll bait thread I have yet to see on this site.
Dude, pick up a book and put down the remote.

It is stated in the Bible that Jesus will make his return in an unmistakable way for all to see. It has nothing to do with leaders. If I'm not mistaken, I don't believe Jesus mentioned TV or the pope when he explained the circumstances.

I'll have to say NO to your question.
Doesnt god in the old testament warn you of people like jesus? You seem happy to ignore the word of your god over someone he warned you about.
The question isnt ment to be so specific as it was but the fact is most true followers do what theyre percievied saviour says. This is the power that religion holds over people.

ok you said it again.
Are you taking mushrooms as you post tonight?
Or is this something more serious?
Ok, show me where Yah warns us about His Son coming. I am so weirded out that you actually think you have a point to make.
You seem to imply you know something about scripture so just show us this wealth of knowledge you are supporting yourself with.
Please give me a scripture that isn't something that would be something closer to what you found randomly in a phone book.
I mean, dude, you cannot really feel you can rely on cheerleaders when you say imaginary things hoping they somehow apply.
Bring something to the table instead of your personal fantasies you gleaned from baywatch.
