Wow all I can say is they are really onto something here.
Pretty friggin cool!!

A new generation of architects is on the march. Leaving their rulers and compasses behind, these builders are trading in their blueprints for algorithms and putting the finer details of design in the hands of robots. This December, two Swiss architects and an Italian robotics engineer will, for the first time, build a tower solely by flying robots.

One step close to a Resourced Based Economy,
When robots can do all sort of human work, such as building structures.

Cool as hell!

Give and take 20 years before they can release the world depopulation by natural attrition.....

If manual labor is no longer required we are expandable

Is it just me or did they in fact not lift anything?

Think of the energy usage they'd require scaled up to lift anything, let alone hover long enough for precision welds and facade installations just might make them superfluous, like your third computer backup, nice if you can afford it. A man just requires a ride and lunch, so, I'm not holding my breath.
