If the U.S. is going to continue to push their aggressive foreign policy over seas, they should expect for this to happen. Again, we get involved in other parts of the world that neighboring countries can handle without us getting involved. Lets put the shoe on the other foot. Would the U.S. accept a Russian missile defense system in Mexico or Canada, when it could be turned around and used to shoot down our missiles if nuclear tensions would arise between our two countries? I think not. So why should Russia accept this?

The U.S. has to stop bullying and pushing their weight where it doesn't belong. Our allies are not as weak as our government makes them out to be. Let them take care of their own problems in their own backyard. We have enough problems at home to worry about.

See the thread in my signature. Russia has been playing a mind game with us and we just blindly accepted it because we wish in our hearts that the illusion was real.

When it comes to this

Russian contractors are to supply production equipment for manufacturing 6.52-mm rifle rounds,

Anybody any idea for what weapon this might be? Both the Russian and the Chinese armies use 5.80MM rounds for their rifles so I am a little curious as to what these rifle rounds might be for

It is all just smoke and mirrors, seriously i am sure it is all part of the plan, make as many people as possible think something big is going to go down, then make another move when no one is looking. All of these countries co-operate with each other behind the scenes, they all need each other, this is just BS as per the norm.

Cuba let China put oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico off their coast.

Imagine if China dropped a small nuke down the drill pipe with a timer and pumped the drill pipe full of concrete.

Couple days later BOOM!.....Deep Horizon explodes, oil leaks into the Gulf decimating America, and the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico fractures from the pressure and the OilCano can't be stopped.

Cuba's been very active against the United States...and instead of the US doing something about it.....Obama's using his powers to go after the half of America he labeled his enemy....constitutionalists, republicans......

As did Rome Obama's relying on mercenaries now....and we all know how Rome ended when the Mercenaries took over.

2.why does cuba need to make ammo

Because Cuba is still blockaded by the US? One of the conditions for the blockade is that any company, or organization for that manner, caught dealing with Cuba is to be deemed helping the bad side of the world and to be ignored for further business.

I don't see what the problem is. Is Cuba not allowed to defend itself or something? If the US had its way, Cuba would be transformed back into the tourist whorehouse that it was before the Castro reforms.

The 6.5's are necked downed .308s; perhaps there is an existing supply of .308 casings already available.

I would think that you could mfg the same variation of rounds that the NATO line has (armor-piercing, tracer, SLAP, etc.) without much difficulty but I'm it's an alternative round based on the overall cost factor.

That is a damn good thread you've got there linked in your signature.

I am proud to see that you have been able to "Stay Tuned."

You should create another thread about this, as I think it deserves way more

public attention. You might have to update your material, and come up with a

hook of a title, but it would be right on target.

To The OP, I am not trying to be off topic here, so apologies if it appears that way.

Ammunition deteriorates over time. Probably sitting on stockpiles from the 60's and 70's. Just updating and refurbishing. Don't know how many people would feel safe firing a round that has been sitting around for almost half a century.

I don't think reposts are allowed. I wish more people would have paid attention to it. All the while people are focusing their attention on some "Illuminati", the real movers and shakers and the real threat is being ignored.

I don't have any new material to add but hope you post in it.

Good question - apparently 6.52mm is more or less .257" or .25-06 according to various searches. I can't find anything about any modern military weapons in that calibre - there were a number of now-obsolete uses, such as Swedish Mausers (from 1898) and the Ariska & Italian rifles of WW2 IIRC.

Wiki article on 6-7mm ammunition

I'm begining to wonder about the reliability of the article......
