You were an Englishman I assume. An Englishman who was the victim of a grave robbery and then had your brain removed and somehow reanimated at Cambridge Anatomical Teaching School, independent of your body. You then waited, locked in your own thoughts, probably going insane for the next 70 to 90 (give or take) years until technology had progressed to a point where microcircuits were able to be fused with and feed information to your synapses. The earliest point this could happen IMO would be the late 80's early 90's. Mind you, by no means in the way you describe. Maybe basic input output signals and nothing more.

You are either in need of help because you really believe what you are saying, or you are being led up the garden path/victimised somehow by someone/something.

I have read through some of your previous posts and from what I have read you give no indication you are in fact a 'brain in a jar'. But you give no indication you are not either. Also you have never hinted at your true state through all of the previous posts of yours I have looked at. I know this means nothing, but why now for the big reveal?

This all reminds me of another fantastical story by another member going by the name of Strangerthanfiction39. He seems to have disappeared for the moment, perhaps conveniently? Here's a link to that thread for your perusal......

Technobabble. You seem to fall back on this type of response quite a lot. Physical proof of your plight as a 'brain in a jar', if not physical proof then a convincing argument. If you are only a brain as you say then you must convince everyone and not avoid the question.

How convenient! May I ask how you know you are just a brain? If you are just a 'brain in a jar' you are only subject to the information your keepers send you. Therefore you have no way of knowing if you are in fact a 'brain in a jar'.

If not a 'brain in a jar' then what? My best idea would be that you are but a computer program, a piece of software. Your programmers probably gave you this back story to make you more functional when communing with people like us here on ATS.

That is if your not a human in front of his computer like me.

So how do you differentiate between input over the net and your dreams/imagination etc?
Why do you assume you are a brain and not simply a consciousness? Have you seen this alleged brain and/or its container? Why are you so trusting of this visual input? What do you actually know beyond 'you think therefore you are'? Why the assumption that I, or this post, or this site or even the internet have any existence outside of your consciousness?
