Hey folks, I have been noticing a lot of radio commercials recently telling people to make sure they have there "disaster preparedness" kits ready. I live in the Chicago area. Has anyone else been noticing anything similar in their area? It seems odd that all of a sudden the MSM is so concerned that we are prepared for a big disaster...

Perhaps in there own way they are trying to prepare us for what they know is coming?

Or entrepreneurs are capitalizing on the listeners paranoia?

The only type of radio I hear this on is talk radio that is conservative

This is the one I see occasionally in the PA area. Also frequent radio ads regarding preparing for special needs folks.

Hey! I figured out how to embed! Yippee....

That got me thinking.

What if the "disaster preparedness" companies have got a wink and a nod from "tptb" or someone from the inside . What if they have been tipped off of workings of the inner government world or state, that the S is about to HTF.

Maybe this is one big last stand on profits from companies in the know.

I've been noticing those types of ads. The thing is though, I only seem to hear them when listening to late night 'conspiracy' radio shows, Like 'Coast To Coast AM', or during Alex Jones podcasts.

Are we the truly smart people, or just the conspiratorial targets for good marketing?

The commercial I heard was during the regular news broadcast of FM news 101.1, a regular news station in my area (Chicago) That broadcasts the same random commercials all throughout the day.
