1998 Video of UFO over Guanare, Venezuela

On December 31, 1998, two familes were having a get-together. There were at least ten persons altogether.

Someone noticed an unknown flying object moving across the sky at a fairly low altitude. We were preparing everything to celebrate the New Year, when the object became apparent.

I had just enough time to grab my old video cassette camera and film a bit of the object. What was interesting was that it seems like the whole town saw this unknown object. A few days later, it was carried on the local news stations, and the newspaper published photographs of it from another photographer.

This happened in Mesa Cavacas, near Portugal, in Guanare, Venezuela.

I saw this today on UFO casebook and thought this was an interesting video.

With the picture of this object it does not appear to be a satellite, and although there was still quite a few satellite's in the sky there were not as many as today.

I thought it was an interesting video as the object, to me, is unidentified. Maybe someone who knows more can bring something to light, but it appears to be moving quite fast through the sky.
