Which aliens do you want to communicate with? The different aliens that occupy most of jupiters 64 moons would be the best start.Start with the ganymede aliens.

Thank you very much, I can't think of any thing I appreciate more than being told I'm wrong. Seriously, it's a big help to me, and opens the door to learning.

I must have been using the words in too narrow a context. I thought aliens or ETs were the creatures that show up on dissecting tables in government labs, or in dark foggy woods. It appears that the discussion here is considering the spirit world. Or, I could be wrong here as well. Help! What are you guys talking about?

My other error seems to be my understanding of "I want to do something incredible with my life." I'm afraid I was thinking along fairly conventional lines. Something like Mother Theresa, Tesla, Rembrandt, Celine Dion (kidding).

So, if you can help me out here as well I'd be grateful.

When the aliens want to talk to you theyll come--that is not the point of this thread .If he wants to talk to the aliens,he will go to them.He can go to ganymede or mars,or venus to meet with the aliens.That is what he has decided to do,and it is a great plan.The fact that most of these aliens are violent doesnt give him a great chance of making it back,but what the hell what is life without adventure.

The next question you should ask yourself - Would I be willing too travel to other star systems with them?

If you approach an alien starship for the quest to talk too them, your mental outlook should accept the possibility that you may not come back to your former haunts.

Your best option for ET contact - Is to put yourself in an aliens frame of mind, and ask yourself: Where would I want to establish a starbase here on Earth?

You go to that place, and try to establish contact with ET. They might be able to track you by fingerprinting your mind waves and thought patterns.

Otherwise.... you might be able to try to establish telepathic contact by being one mile or less from a landed / flying saucer.

P.S.- If you don't want to establish ET contact by mental telepathy, at the time of the close encounter - You should think about color's in your mind as in: color's swirling about.

Meditation like the previous poster talks about is virtually a given - but can you meditate? I last about 3 minutes - and I have tried for many years - one day I hope for a breakthrough there.

The K.I.S.S method however is simply that 'you ask' - you must be in the right vibration and have no fear - to some this will never happen as they are locked in ego mind so they can't.

Just go outside every night offer your thanks and also you'd like to learn more from them - as long as they hold a loving intent - you'll be surprised what can happen after that

Why not use your energy and motivation on the welfare and happiness of your family, friends, neighbours, community, town, county, state and country? Who knows maybe you will turn out to be significant for the entire world.

Let us be real....the chance that you will be chosen to talk with aliens (as representator of the human race?) will probably never gonna happen. What I suggested will have more chance to happen if you are dedicated and your heart in the right place.

Nothing of that scale will happen now or in 2012, neither a cataclysm, nor an alien visitation, nor disclosure. These things don't happen with an alarm clock you know,,,?

But some food for though for those that believe something alien related would happen, I am just throwing in a hypothetical scenario

Dec 21st is a time when the winter constellations are showing on the northren hemisphere: Orion, Taurus with its Pleiades, Canis Major with Sirius. They can be seen from 8-9pm when it's already dark to until maybe early morning. And the most mentioned aliens come frm Sirius or the Pleiades.

But again, nothing in 2012, I feel the nothing unusual to be then.

How well educated are you in the diverse flora and fauna on this planet? Tell us what you understand about geological processes or meteorology. What about science in general? How about your knowledge of art, literature, poetry, music? Archeology? Paleontology?

Unless you have extensive knowledge of the above, I seriously doubt that any alien who's travelled however far to get here would want to talk to you! No offense intended!!!

The same goes for most of us.
