Star to you sir, I dont agree entirely with the post but I do agree with most of it in principle. I think we are pretty much on the same page.
At least on this subject.

Thx man. No matter what one believes about God you have to accept that he gave us intelligent analytical minds for a reason......... so that we may use them

you people are so afraid to believe, what does any of this matter to you? why post?

Why don't you believe in Zeus? Allah? Vishnu? Etc? Are you afraid to? Or is it because you don't believe they exist?

I believe that all are attempts to name the One God which is in touch with everyone's soul.

And you would be wrong. All have different ancient writings and stories about their gods.

You mean except for every single fossil fitting the theory perfectly? Or apart from the DNA evidence fully backing up the evidence?

Look, you can argue all you want about how life (single celled organisms) first came to be...because scientists don't know. There's no conclusive theory. But when it comes to the theory of evolution, arguing is silly...it's akin to arguing about gravity or the way your aspirin is made

For crying out loud, they are ACTIVELY APPLYING the theory in modern medicine to accurately predict future outcomes and to develop medicine. If the theory were wrong, we wouldn't have many of the medicine we have today.

Circular reasoning since you're using the theory to interpret the evidence.

to me it seems evolution is a fact. species mutate to adapt. look it up read a scientific journal. its proven and I'm not even going to link it because if you can't even fathom it, then why waste my and your time. EVOLUTION IS A FACT. it happens get over it. but why should Jesus deny evolution? he wouldn't. BUT WHY does evolution deny God? in my opinion it doesn't. I've seen spirits! real dead people right in front of me in the ethereal. but to me, we are Godly, without an omnipotent ruler. if your spirit and soul is eternal and I'm pretty sure it is, as I've seen freekin spirits with my own two eyes, then why do we need a god ruler? God is not real. energy is. If you really think about it, religion is a tool of enslavement, with a supporting history of doing just that.

"Species mutate to adapt" implies some sort of foresight on the part of the lauded process of evolution. That's not how it works, if evolution works or even exists as a legitimate mechanism at all. Rather, selective pressure acts on mutations, or the phenotype of an individual which in turn changes the allele frequency in a given gene pool a la natural selection.

The question par excellence is whether or not this process actually creates new genetic information.
