Hi readers & Member
Following Major Brain surgery to have a growth removed from my frontal lobe early this year I went to India post operation to recover Dharamsala to be exact.
Having spent nearly 6 month there living well above the general population on about 10 US dollars a day. I attended some of the Dalai Lama teaching and spent much time with many wise old Tibetan monks.
adding meditation to this here are my conclusion to this mess the world is in today.
The Ows Say that the 1 percent are the problem if you do the numbers that 70 million people right?

I say that the core problem lays with the 1 percent of the 1 percent that about 700,000 people world wide
over five thousand of these blood suckers can be found in the Saudi royal family alone.
By targeting this smaller number of 99.99 of all the world major finance hardship you then get on board 69 million more people who have real money behind them like Michael Moore and Anne Hathaway its not because someone has earned 50 or 100 million dollars working that you should add them to this group who control the world finance this is just pure short sightless.

I am adding a link here of a guy who caters for the super rich group that is destroying the world there you will see a house he build for 7 billion pounds sterling (WTF)
[Luxury Homes
have a little look at what else he has to offer for the super rich on his site its sickening more so for me after spending so much time in India and seeing first hand all the suffering going on there small things like clean water and a clean meal are a big issue there.
So maybe if we target the Group who control most of our resources we can change things.
karma means Action Good karma good action.
This is what is needed right now to change our world and improve our lives in this life & the next.
Peace & hope

I don't think it's just because someone is rich that's the problem. I think the problem lies in that a disproportionately small number of those people control over half of the total wealth.

I personally believe there is a major difference between a person that earns a large sum of money through work, and those that have used the money and labor of others to create wealth.

There's also a difference between creating artificial wealth, and actual wealth generation. A company that has a product or real service has every right to grow rich. A company that gains wealth through means that takes away from the population is wrong too.

These companies want tax break after tax break, yet, they aren't upholding their end of the deal by employing people.

true but I still think that targeting the 1% is way to broad.
its a much smaller group than 70 million we are really talking about here a few hundred thousand at most which control 99.99 of every thing.

my thoughts

We need to get a new notion of the idea of "profit", something maybe financially profitable, but if it is at the cost of exploitation humans or environmental destruction, then it is not really profitable. Profit should best be described on how things profit humans and the world we live in.

To make it simple There are those who earn their wealth. There are those who get their money from ill gotten gain. There may be a few rich people who got their money legal and honest. However I have never met any.

The uber elite have garnered so much control they are the plantation owners of the 21st century in my opinion. When you look at the amount of wealth/influence in the hands of so few people, it is easy to see how disillusioned anyone would end up!

We're all going to end up as serfs on the land of a few Corporations if things don't change.

Project Mayhem, that'd be a great start to righting the imbalance.

I'm sure that some of the apologists will jump in here and claim "it" is some sort of "ism". Certainly better than Corporatism that we have now where the risks are socialized but the rewards/gains are privatized.

People keep falling into the trap that the unrest is directed at 'the rich'. Although some parrot this idea, it isn't true, accurate or that simple. OWS is against those that have used their wealth (irrespective of amount) to inequitably and unfairly leverage 'the system' (both political and economic) at the expense of the majority. Some among the 'monied' have used their wealth to influence policy and legislation that furthers their ambitions but damages the nation as a whole. Unfair tax laws, the politcal election process, K Street and special interests are good examples.

Get as wealthly as you want but your vote is no more powerful than mine, You should have no more (or less) access to our representatives and your money should have no effect on the nation's policies. Businesses job-jacking to take advantage of cheap, overseas labor at our expense and to hide revenue against taxation is wrong.

The majority of 'our representatives' are millionaires --- hardly representative.
