ok That's a nice history lesson. OWS is Socialists, communists, Neo-Nazis, homeless, anarchist, radicals, Estonian communist anti corporation, anti Capitalist, and angry students who feel the govt should pay for their college education(see Socialists).

Yes, I absolutely agree. Thats my point exactly, that the actions of INDIVIDUALS should not be used to cast judgement on the WHOLE.

And actually no I don't enjoy judging or labelling people because at the end of the day I know nothing about who they really are. Assuming otherwise would be just that, an assumption.

Nice, take a comment from one protester and apply it to the whole movement, regardless if that protester that said that comment was:

A) Arrested previously for attacking an officer
B) Protester's own mother said he had mental/psychological issues and would talk to himself in his room (he's a grown adult btw)

Also there were other protesters that voiced their disagreement loudly after he said the comment. The irony here is that a lot of those critical of the OWS are on the perceived other spectrum of the political side and some are from Tea party themselves - which complained about being lumped in with "Red necks, xenopobes, racists, bigots and gun fanatics" but have no problems lumping in all the OWS as socialists, hippie, dirty, deviants etc..

Peaceful protest is sooo cute! Its also scientifically proven to be ignorable and pitifully ineffective. But otherwise, yeah its awesome. That Tree of Liberty thing, while unfortunate, is accurate.

Let's see that scientific proof.

But hey, if you want to get violent, by all means give it a shot.

There is still time for this to get messy. I posted this image of a dream I had a month or so back and I hope this doesn't get too violent....Dream from September

I don't really see how they can do anything else. Making peaceful protests impossible leaved no other choice but violent ones.

I have not heard any news yet of Manhattan burning. I checked a live news feed and no reports of significant violence so far.

What's going to happen if Macy's burns for a bit then collapses at freefall speed into its own footprint?

Why can't the occupiers organize and assign people to shifts, thus enabling a round-the-clock protest while avoiding the need for tents? Also, the "squatting" could be done at home instead of behind the bushes.

One bad apple spoils the bunch. A bit of leadership and organization would go a long way at identifying the rotten ones, or preventing the rot from spreading. Leaderless groups become mobs. Groups with leaders become armies.

Regurgitate much? You keep spewing the same ignorant mind numbing hate filled bile over and over again. You are what is called a flame baiter. Remember what I said about derelict minds earlier? Ignoring the troll or flame baiter is the most popular method adopted by the would-be victims. That logic is simple; since trolls find their “high” when someone reacts in any way to their flame bait, doing the opposite will likewise put them down. Furthermore, many find it easier to do this by rationalizing that it is not worth their time at all. Seeing no takers for the bait, the troll eventually fades away.

Also the trolls that starred your posts tisk tisk i see you lurking

Whilst the 1% have been displaying their conspicuous wealth by pitching tents they do not need in New York and London and elsewhere, the 99% have been dying for want of a tent in Somalia, Pakistan and other places.

The very rich - OWS and their friends - oppose those who are even very richer, but have no regard at all for those who have nothing.

OWS are no different to bankers. They want everything and care for no-one. They just don't like the fact someone has more money than they do.

HUH?

You cant be serious? I am one of them, i ma middle class and blue collar. The majority of OWS at my local were compromised mostly of blue collar and have not's , where do you come up with this crap? Who are all these rich OWS people you speak of? If a few attend that happen to be wealthy well then now what? The minority represents the majority? The error in your logic is stunning. Is there something in the water 'fluoride" making people like yourself think this way or?...

Ironically our forefathers would side with "violent" protests, if tyrants take control, you must take action and defend your liberty's at all cost...besides even if OWS doesn't turn violent, it will happen one day soon down the road.

Begging for martyrs now are we? Ain't gonna happen, no one in OWS wants to be the first to be killed in action...

I don't think anybody likes the idea of dying however they as well as myself are not buying in to intimidation. I am sure Neda Agha-Soltan did not plan to get shot and die while protesting her government but she did. If we do not have a right to have a voice in this society then what is the point of living at all? I will speak for myself.. not afraid to die for fighting for my rights. So there here is one guy that will take a bullet if he has to.

one in the police wants to be the first to kill a protester, BUT that could change if someone were to do something really stupid.

WRONG

Ummm have you read the news, they almost have. Rubber bullets can kill did you hear about the Marine that was in critical condition? He was not doing anything at all just standing there in defiance.

If you want a martyr so bad, why don't you be the first to really try, that would be a lot more admirable than begging for it on the internet. By the way, the death of this movement as a whole will be when or IF (god forbid) something like that happens. IMO

Umm WRONG AGAIN ! Neda Agha-Soltan's death did not stop the Arab spring now did it? It did quite the opposite. What are you talking about? No we are not going away we are beginning to surge, you will continue to spew your malice here in the process.

Still WINNING

True dat, Or Timothy McVeigh would represent each and every member of the US Army, right? He was part of that community-owned, collectivist organization, as I recall...

You have every right to believe what you want, and protest for or against whatever you choose to be involved in, I respect that and applaud the efforts.

As long as this all remains fairly peaceful, I wish you all the best of luck at "winning" whatever that means ultimately.

Violence will destroy this movement, no matter what you compare it to, primarily because of the REALITY within the actual numbers... It just does not have the support needed to FORCE change... For that you will actually need 99% of Americans with you, not the current extreme minority.

Don't judge me, or my opinion, let this play out and we will see together.

My bad. I guess I should do a little more research. Anyways, I think that is a good thing. I'm all about freedom of speech, but when you threaten the lives of people...joking or not, you should be arrested. It's definitely better to be safe than sorry.
