Peaceful protest is sooo cute! Its also scientifically proven to be ignorable and pitifully ineffective. But otherwise, yeah its awesome. That Tree of Liberty thing, while unfortunate, is accurate.
Whilst the 1% have been displaying their conspicuous wealth by pitching tents they do not need in New York and London and elsewhere, the 99% have been dying for want of a tent in Somalia, Pakistan and other places. The very rich - OWS and their friends - oppose those who are even very richer, but have no regard at all for those who have nothing. OWS are no different to bankers. They want everything and care for no-one. They just don't like the fact someone has more money than they do.
Begging for martyrs now are we? Ain't gonna happen, no one in OWS wants to be the first to be killed in action...
one in the police wants to be the first to kill a protester, BUT that could change if someone were to do something really stupid.
If you want a martyr so bad, why don't you be the first to really try, that would be a lot more admirable than begging for it on the internet. By the way, the death of this movement as a whole will be when or IF (god forbid) something like that happens. IMO

Yes, I absolutely agree. Thats my point exactly, that the actions of INDIVIDUALS should not be used to cast judgement on the WHOLE.
And actually no I don't enjoy judging or labelling people because at the end of the day I know nothing about who they really are. Assuming otherwise would be just that, an assumption.edit on 17-11-2011 by Syphon because: removed duplicate word
