No, but this is a standard political tactic.. Look at the blame Bush mentality that IS STILL GOING ON IN 2011!!! WTF... we need to suck it up and move on together... not in groups.. this class warfare is going to ruin the country faster than information that MAY OR MAY NOT BE TRUE!

Technically he was a threat before he supposedly shot at the White House. He was caught, so no longer a threat.

its not like you can buy one on ebay... that really is a good question where he got the hardware.. if he came in from one of the southern states it'd be easier... but if he lives near DC (or in NY) no way... no idea... thats a great question

Actually.... I don't think he was caught. They're actively pursuing him.

In Georgia it's just as easy as 1-2-3. It's not hard at all. Not to mention the gun was registered so he probably got it back home. I believe they said he was from Idaho.

Also, we're saying he's a suspect just because they are. We aren't parrots. It's possible that he has guns, and they were stolen, OR, somebody stole his identity. I've never seen or heard of a mentally ill shaker eluding the feds this long.

He dropped the gun so they could find it. Did they finger print it? Was he wearing gloves? Was that name nothing more than bull crap to lead them on a wild goose chase? Have you ever heard of somebody shooting out of a vehicle and dropping the gun OUT of the vehicle? Better yet, have you ever heard of someone shooting an AK while driving without putting bullet holes in the car somewhere? 2 people maybe?

thats what my question was... but why an AK... this is what strikes me as odd.. two things come to mind

the AK is notoriously for being the commie gun.... so.... is this person a Socialist/Communist (like most of the OWS people) or is this actually a cover up?

Give up with the communist #. The AK is notorious for being just about the BEST assault rifle ever.... I can go through my neighborhood and find 5 people with AK's, and they probably can't spell communist...
