I think the IAEA should do an investigation and report on this matter and - oh no wait....it's the United States and they can do what the hell they like can't they?

Wasn't Yucca Mountain in New Mexico and when they wanted to open it the governor said NO. Bring iot to Michigan we need the jobs.

Yucca Mountain is actually in Nye County, Nevada and is pretty much complete as a functional facility. It's just not politically viable and among other notable names, Harry Reid killed it in place. It would have been nice to do a few billion dollars ago...and they seem to believe storing our waste on-site at dozens and dozens of different locations all over the nation is better...but there ya go. If Washington made sense, we'd be in a nation we'd be happy with, not trying desperately to change right?

This is part of this job creation scheme.

I am all for it, but how many citizens are
going to actually be helped by working there?

Thousand or more? Ok do it.

If were talking about giving this 6 bill to 10 people
HELL NO!!
