I have discovered an article in the guardian stating leon panetta head of the pentagon wanting more sanctions and less threats of war

www.guardian.co.uk...

very interesting to see that the pentagon can even see going after iran as a bad idea!

as iran said they would defend themselves with "an iron fist".

war may not happen so soon!
hopefully.

bearing in mind that if they do all relations between america and china/russia will be cut off effectavelly starting ww3

why cant america just tell israel to back off!

iran has just as much a right to defend itself as israel or america!

I can see everyone in the middle east who has a beef with america bet behind iran!

america should be very careful they are threading in dangerous waters now!

China have no real remorse! I saw a thread the other day saying they are holding the world to ransom with some chemical release!

the days ahead look grim!
so lets just wait for the reaper

Oh? Someone has a brain inside of the pentagon?

Too bad for Panetta, the war profiteers are already prepared for the next infusion of cash from the US Taxpayer.

Actually, many governments/royal families in the area have quietly asked for the US to help remove Iran from the picture. They are as afraid of a nuclear armed Iran as anyone else. The Saudi's possibly would attack Iran after the latest plot? I can see you don't keep up on the news.

There is a much more direct route that will hold the idiots at bay and create a new generation of MAD (Mutual Assured Destruction)

Since China and Russia are basically protecting Iran, if not supplying her with know-how and material to build nukes, they should be held responsible for her behavior. That is to say, that if Iran applies nuclear weapons in any attack on any nation or supplies them to terrorists who apply them in any attack, NATO will launch an immediate and full nuclear resource attack on both Russia and China.

This will create another cold war effect... the MAD scenario, which basically kept the US and USSR from going to war for decades. Mutually understanding the consequences for one's behavior means more responsible behavior by all.

Also if you guys remember, there was a thread a while back explaining how China pretty much controls out ability to use Laser Guided Bombs and our defense systems. They have primary control over the rare earth metal that is used to make the computer chips needed for these things and are the ones who make and and suppy us with those chips.

On top of that if anything ever happened between us and China or Russia, we would be screwed and so would they. Our biggest trade is with China and vice versa. If they cut off trade with us, they would also have to cut off trade with most of Europe. Effectively crippling their economy and ours. There would be no need for nuclear war, we would all destroy ourselves.

Just my thoughts.
