It is with great sadness as I read the daily news, of every paper I can find, even from overseas.
All of which tells of only the belligerance of Iran, making seems as if war is being manipulated as INEVITABLE.
I will not deny atomic bombs are horrendous, curbing it important, but so had the world succeeded in doing so? None. Even isolated N Korea could
create one. Many other nations are looking into nuke energy today and inevitably, nuke weapons are only a side step away.
We cannot uncork the genie that had escaped from the bottle. But mankind can still control the use of the genie. Let each nation have their own atomic
weapons if they wish, but their SOCIETY be fully responsible for it. Live by the bomb, then be prepared to die by the bomb if it is foolishly used.
As of yet, just like Sadamn, there is no CONCLUSIVE evidence of Iran having that bomb. That they can build one, and I fully believe them capable of
it, is NOT ENOUGH JUSTIFICATION for war.
Furthermore, Iran, time after time, had only claimed that they will retaliate IF ATTACKED - a right shared equally by any sovereign nation on Earth,
just as USA retaliated against the radical misguided Jihadists whom swore death to humanity upon its first strike in 911, just as Israel retaliated
against the arab nations in the 6 day war when those nations attacked Israel.
The world can comprehend and support such actions.
But first strike against Iran? For what conscionable reason?
Better other nations improve upon their warning systems, anti-missle capabilities as defence measures than military adventurism that will risk a world
engulf in flaming nuke conflageration, contaminatiing our planet for centuries.
I am sure NO human would fear wars or to fight, but would have the resiliance and determination to fight back if ever attacked, the insignificant
nobody me would certainly fight back even with bare hands, but when no one is attacked, we mankind MUST NOT SUPPORT ANY MILITARY ADVENTURISM, even if
leaders and the media are hell bent on pushing humanity deeper and deeper each day to our species' doom.
