The shortest mission to the moon was 8.5 hours. It wouldn't be hard to attach a warhead to a rocket, capable of deep space travel and directional changes.

That being said, I don't think this is a mission to intercept the asteroid.

Using what? Warp drive?

The asteroid will be a lot closer to the moon than the Earth. If anyone remembers, it took 5 days for the Apollo astronauts to reach the moon, so I would imagine a similar time frame would apply to an ICMB. Taking that in to account, if they wanted to hit it with an ICBM "to see what would happen" they should have launched the missile at least 4 days ago. As it stands now, there is no way to catch up to it.

Also, ICBMs are designed to operate in LOW Earth orbit, sub-orbital to be precise. I have serious doubts about their ability to travel long distances in inter-planetary space, especially considering they have no means of making a course correction once it runs out of fuel.

Say, OldCorp... fellow South Carolinian, I believe?

What ever came of your visit/interview with the Astronomer at a University? I was really looking forward to the hearing answers to the questions you asked us to provide some months back. Anyhow, still got connections? Would love to hear his take on all of this... although it seems like you've become well-versed in astrophysics/astronomy in the last few months, yourself.:puz
I truly mean you no disrespect... just really confused since I've seen at least 2 other of your "Truth is Viral" vids, and no word on the one that was to come first, but hasn't shown up yet.)

Do you plan to finish that vid? We were all waiting with baited breath!!! (Um, in all fairness, you DID bait us , you must admit!)

Richard Hoagland announced on Coast to Coast last night that they are going to fire a warhead at it. Of course, that is C2C and Hoaxland. The source isn't credible in my opinion. Hoaxland promised White House disclosure by November 2009. Wilcock was swearing that too, on a stack of holy books.

I'm waiting....
Where's that hideous sound I've been expecting from my radio?
No test?
