UFO Videotaped over Colombia

A recent UFO was spotted over the city of Medellin, Colombia, and caught on video.

This video is interesting for a couple of reasons. First of all, unless the whole thing is staged, someone in a vehicle is driving down the street when he notices that pedestrians along the street are looking up and pointing to something in the sky.

The vehicle stops, and the videographer directs his camera to the sky, where he captures an oval object with what looks like Christmas tree lights.

If this is real, it is quite compelling, but then again, you never know for sure.

Well, this is a different video. The person filming pans around and notices everyone looking up at the sky watching what appears to be a UFO. The UFO appears to be stationary and have multiple blinking lights that are different colors.

Well this has quite a few good traits about it, the biggest being multiple witnesses. I wish it were a lot longer as it appears to have been good genuine footage. I couldn't see that many people looking up towards the same spot with nothing up there...

I have no idea what it could be, it is definitely not lanterns. I'm not to familiar with LED kites, so maybe someone more aquatinted on the subject can make an educated guess.

Any thoughts?

ridiculous. you finally get a clear and authentic shot of a ufo. and it's some yo-yo flying an led r.c. device.

I dunno man, that's a little too flashy. Like garish christmas lights. I'd expect advanced alien aircraft to have a specific purpose to their lights. Those ones just seem to have no other purpose other than to scream "Hey! Look at me!"

If it quacks like a duck. And walks-like-a-looks-like-a duck with 4 Christmas lights on it...it's probably not an off-world craft.

I don't know if it is an alien craft but it certainly is strange...but you never know, I believe that whatever has been showing up all over the world be it Aliens or Extrademensional beings are getting fed up with trying to hide themselves and just dont care anymore

It was a kite with leds in Medellin Colombia on November 6, 2011.
A kite similar to that one from Embu Brazil wich caused a mess.

Usually I don;t waste anyone's time with posting about videos like these as they are not terribly compelling. Notice the range of colors used on the lights. I have much experience in the world of audio/visual production. The colors of the lights represent the full spectrum of colors offered by retailers of LED party lights. At a range of a couple of hundred feet, as this 'UFO' may be, this is about as bright as I would expect such lights to be.

On footage of objects more likely to be actual craft that traverse atmospheres or space, the lights tend to be very different. They tend to be much brighter, sometimes even iridescent. I am not declaring his is a fake, but I can certainly say that lacking any other information, I am quite inclined to trust my own gut reaction and conclude this is not an ambassador from Zeta Reticuli or Gleise 581-c.

Strange one, it seems the person filming the video seems more concerned in convincing the viewer at the amounts of witnesses looking up at the object, rather then looking up at the object itself...?

Would this be YOUR natural response to viewing something this strange hovering in the sky?

Could be legit, but who knows...?

Anyone else thinking about the silly headline of this thread?

"Over Colombia" is also a pretty vague description.

On the topic: take it from someone who has "seen stuff" on more than one occasion: that object is most likely of terrestial origin.

Now, now. Just because the lights aren't cool enough doesn't mean this isn't a legitimate flying object from another planet. Maybe this planet is just not as sporty and hip as the other planets, and they have to get all their lights and stuff from a discount store.

Gosh, you people are prejudiced against poor, un-hip aliens!

P.S. -- Seeing as this is Medellin, Columbia, I think all those people are on drugs.

Anyone who has truly witnessed these craft up close they can testify thatthe lights do not appear this way. The lights in the video are almost like led christmas lights... best bet is some kind of terrestrial toy, probably RC.

I do like the video however, because it starts with people looking up towards the object with many other observers and the fact that traffic was even slowed or stopped and I did not hear any horns blasting...

If any of you have seen the un explainable perhaps you can attest on my behalf how this fact rings true with this video perhaps you have pondered it as you recall your viewing and how tranquil all is somehow too calm for what truely transpired and how some have no recollection what so ever...
