Newish Member, Hello all!!

Hello ATS, I have been stalking this site for a couple years now, time to jump in and get this party started! I have many interest on this site from aliens to government cover ups, it all fascinates me! About me, I'm a Floridan, had brief service experience ( Marine Corps Infantry), survivalist, techy, college student (engineering) and open minded.

At the moment my interest are in the shtf scenario, I feel it getting closer and i am a firm believer in strength in numbers. I would also like to speak with others about this scenario, especially other Floridians, and toss around some ideas to the more experiences members here. So ill be cruising around, hope to meet some intriguing people, some to help me sharpen my wits, and help me perfect my plan of attack.

If you are concerned about shtf, i have a few ideas that might help.
I've been looking into alternative housing and ways to live without a grocery store or electricity.
I found ways to get electricity free from certain things, i need to do more research on storing it but still.
Something that really inspired me wass my discovery of cob houses, i had never heard of it before and the idea alone is exciting for me, so If i did find myself without a home, i now know i can just make one. Ive also been researching fibers, the types, how, when to harvest and how to turn it into clothing. cleaning meat and preserving food. So much to learn, i could spend hours. Honestly i feel it coming too, so my shtf scenario plan kinda starts with getting some land.
