Occupy Oakland: Second Iraq war veteran injured after police clashes

The Oakland police must be investigated. This young man was discovered in a jail cell only after another arrestee, a brother to yet another veteran, told her he was in there and in great pain - but police left him there for 18 HOURS before transporting to hospital. He suffered a lacerated spleen from police ganging up on him while he was alone and beating him with their batons.

Kayvan Sabehgi, who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, is in intensive care with a lacerated spleen. He says he was beaten by police close to the Occupy Oakland camp, but despite suffering agonising pain, did not reach hospital until 18 hours later.
