However, I tend to lean with my memory on this one, because my older brother and I were interested in the prospect of chem trails more than 20 years ago now.

I don't wish to be obtuse, but "chemtrails" weren't really talked about until around 15 years ago.......are you saying that you and your brother considered contrails contained chemicals over 20 years ago?

One more question. Why do people get so worked up over conspiracy theorists discussing their thoughts on a conspiracy forum? Who are we hurting by saying what we think. I mean everyone has a right to their opinion but it seems like some of you are really angry that we don't agree with your views. How are we hurting you? Why does it mean so much? I don't get angry when someone doesn't agree with me about something. It's life, it's their decision what they want to think or believe and they are not hurting me. I think religion is nuts but I don't get angry at people for believing in it. I may feel sorry for them but they are entitled to their views and it's not my place to go into a church and harass the congregation. Who are we hurting by discussing what we think chem-trails are? You don't have to agree but be a little less hateful with your views if you don't mind me asking. Thank You.

I agree with you, this is the exact reason I decided I needed to research this subject even more myself. There is a huge effort to bury this topic. The debunkers of the chemtrail conspiracy on this site and others are unlike any debunker of other conspiracy topics. They are always here every day and commenting on every chemtrail thread.

To me it's obvious that these chemtrails are NOT normal jet contrails. All the evidence I have seen points towards weather modification and related programs that are being researched and developed. It's tied to the global warming issue and also the military.

The main debunker was fired after this new Geoengineering forum was created. They haven't posted for 6 months when they used to post every day. I suppose they could have just changed their screen name though. I think these debunkers use two names to try and make their arguments look like they have some support.

It's not working though, more and more people are waking up to this issue and becoming aware of these man made clouds that cover our skies in a grey haze and grotesque checkerboard patterns.

No....no where were "commercial jets" mentioned, in that post of yours, originally.

But, you see....here is the problem .... one that is brought up on occasion....

The ONLY alternative to the "commercial jets' meme is...well, what, exactly?? Military??

Because, THAT is suggested often, when logic is backed into a corner.....as a sort of "last ditch" effort at an "explanation".

Problem is....it just "don't wash with the facts".....to paraphrase an idiomatic *turn of phrase*....

Oh, it's easy to just *say* that the "Military Done It!!", and then run off, leaving that steaming pile of stinking nonsense behind.....BUT, if one wishes to make such a claim (and, truly....I am assuming but...what other choice is there???)....well......does anyone see the dilemma??

Hey...read a few of your earlier this year threads - solid. Grid patterns are how the military thinks. Once in awhile they try circles and trails to nowhere but up and these don't really seem to reassure them that they have adequate coverage. So it's back to the grids and X's.

I understand the feeling that it is disrespectful. However, other may find it equally dis respectful when the same principal is used in such a way that it promotes a double standard.

It is possible for people to believe in things there is actually no evidence for, including aspects of religion as well as certain aspects of chem trails.

I hope you don't feel as if I am singling you out or trying to pick or prove a point. I just wanted to ask why it is ok to believe one thing that has no evidence to back it, while it is not ok to beleive a different thing that has similarly lacking evidence.

Although the topics are incredibly different in nature, the standard for rationalization should not be different or ignored, simply because it is something that you believe - while the demand for proof is issued for somethingyou do not believe in....

so why the double standard?

Are you sure they weren't talked about until 15 years ago? Why would you think that?

Chemtrails were being talked about then as they are now, however the talks were less detailed and the theories not nearly as elaborate.

Chem trails were being talked about during and right after Vietnam and possibly even before them. I know they were talked about then because of the theories that the weather modification used during Vietnam could possibly also carry poisonous chemicals dispersed to the masses through chemical spraying from airplanes - and I am not talking about crop dusting.

Ever heard of Agent Orange?

As technology and chemistry progressed, the air force admitted that chemicals like nerve gas, first accidentally discovered and used by the Nazis in the form of saran, tabun, soman, VX gas and other toxins were dispersed from the air by low flying war planes. In Iraq, there was the use of air delivered gas like mustard gas against both Iran and Iran in the early 1980's. More than 100,000 Iranian troops were killed from air dispersed chemicals.

“From March 1967 until July 1972, the U.S. military's Operation Popeye cloud-seeded silver iodide to extend the monsoon season over North Vietnam, specifically the Ho Chi Minh Trail. The operation resulted in the targeted areas seeing an extension of the monsoon period an average of 30 to 45 days.” (1) We know that a large amount of agent orange were also used in the early 1970's and the chemicals had long term damaging effects including birth defects.

I believe that they view the "straight up to no where" chemtrails with satellites. To project the wind patterns and jet stream at different altitudes.

They can use the data from a test run to decide where to lay the main coverage. Just a theory

Well, that is entirely normal for this time of year. Do you actually think airplanes are to blame for the seasonal increase in winter overcast skies?

Oh and you know this how? The only "grid" the military uses are for maps, and thats not just the military either.

No one sprays in grids, circles and X's. Thats something made up by chemtrail promoters, when those you list, are exactly how you would not spray.
