Cross your fingers for me that the upload function on ATS has been enabled

It works fine, for me.

There is an upload size limit of 500kb. You will get a message in red, in the box on the left, if your image exceeds that parameter.

This new "ATS Media" feature allows more (dot)extensions than before, including (dot)bmp now. ALthough, JPEGs look better, it seems.

Good Luck

I just added this, although it's bitmap (bmp) from MS Paint...it is just under 500 Kb, but very small resolution when posted here on ATS:

(Feel free to grab the image, and open in a new tab, to make larger....if you can).

It certainly is - direct flights from Nashville to Memphis go almost directly overhead, and multiple other routes pass within a few miles either side - here's the flights in Tennessee a few minutes ago:

Wow, that was slightly ironic. The person claimed to not be anywhere that there should be any overhead jet traffic, yet they were located just under an airway going northeast from Memphis.

How is that significant? Memphis is a hub for Delta (now merged with Northwest), and the main hub for FedEx. so obvious this place was located under an airway, but located right by a hub for two major airlines too. There are probably hundreds of aircraft that utilize that airway daily.

Hmmmm funny how that happens. A chemtrailer makes a claim, which was totally false in every regard.

I will explain this without the attitude and dis-respect that I and others are receiving whilst we try to discuss our concerns.

I live here. I know where I am located on the map. The map presented is not White Bluff's location. The red drawn rectangle is conveniently drawn to the south of White Bluff and I am just north of White Bluff. Therefore, I would look at this map and say, the location is wrong and the person who presented it is guessing and does not know the area. His rectangle is actually drawn around the junction of hwy 96 and interstate 40. I am actually just above the top of the rectangle and judging from what I am seeing it does not coincide with any of those flight paths. Not close enough IMO to have so many at once. I could consider a few or even ten or so but well over thirty were up there going in all directions (as you can see in my pic) at the same time. If I was in Nashville this would make sense. Also It seems to me, when I see a con-trail it dissipates fairly quickly. These I saw the other day did not. They stayed there for long lengths of time in a tight stream.

Where did the guy go that was going to take my time/date/location/direction info and show me the commercial airline paths at that exact moment in time? He claimed he could easily debunk my pic and when I gave the info I have not heard hide nor hair of it. Maybe its further down the thread.

One more question. Why do people get so worked up over conspiracy theorists discussing their thoughts on a conspiracy forum? Who are we hurting by saying what we think. I mean everyone has a right to their opinion but it seems like some of you are really angry that we don't agree with your views. How are we hurting you? Why does it mean so much? I don't get angry when someone doesn't agree with me about something. It's life, it's their decision what they want to think or believe and they are not hurting me. I think religion is nuts but I don't get angry at people for believing in it. I may feel sorry for them but they are entitled to their views and it's not my place to go into a church and harass the congregation. Who are we hurting by discussing what we think chem-trails are? You don't have to agree but be a little less hateful with your views if you don't mind me asking. Thank You.

Off to read some more.
Hope everyone is lovely this evening!

Hi there. There does seem to be a lack of concrete evidence that can be agreed upon by everyone without doubt.

I have to ask... are you religious or spiritual and/or do you believe in G-d?

The evil twin of chemtrails and the evil twin of cloud seeding: two evil twins together. Not one good and one bad - both bad. What are the odds? Not good without DOD intervention.

Doesn't the myth involve it being a Govt-run operation in the first place, and what with the DoD being a Govt Dept, why do you think they will "help"?

As for cloud seeding being "bad" - go on, start ANOTHER cloud seeding thread ...we haven't had a good one for a couple of months...

Ha ha, as I was reading my reply I just edited to say that it sounded like I was talking about religion. I don't believe in god in a theistic way, but have my spiritual side. Having said that I don't believe that ones faith in religion should ever be compared to so ones faith in something which is trivial in comparison. Then again maybe this is how religion got started, people believing in something and not listening to others... But yea, I think it's disrespectful to compare contrails to people's religious beliefs.

You do know that statement works both ways don't you?

In every "chemtrail" thread here on ATS, it is usually the believers that get all worked up when presented with scientific, and common sense facts.......as soon as an opinion is stated that debunks a chemtrail theory, the poster is accused of being an internet troll or a paid government shill.

Why is that?........................how are we hurting you?

That sounds like a great idea
I would watch a documentary detailing the science behind how the c-trails are created. =) Maybe you should seek funding from the science channel or a similar media outlet.

Nice try....but, fail try:

The evil twin of chemtrails and the evil twin of cloud seeding:

"chemtrails" (or, normal contrails that are composed of ice crystals and are essentially just cirrus clouds) that are confused and mis-identified, versus......CLOUD SEEDING which is conducted at completely different altitudes, under completely different conditions, for completely different reasons???

Yet.....this simple fact of sience just doesn't seem to get through to a small handful of people??

:shk:

Truly fascinating..........

A question which has been running around in my mind for the Chemtrails believers. Is there anything that anyone could say or show you that would switch you from a believer in Chemtrails? If so please give a detailed answer. A seriously honest question, I'm curious because my previous post has my mind flowing off on a tangent that I would like to explore

You're confused. Don't you mean cirrus aviaticus?

I wish that the pictures could better describe how impressive these contrails looked in the sky. Also, you may note the odd travel paths of the contrails that criss cross, up and down. I do not recall ever seeing contrails formed with such sharp angles. Most planes I see or contrails I see are mostly in a straight or slightly curved, but not what seems to be sharply angled.

ok, I have the images uploaded and I am posting them now...

and the 2nd one, although it isn't much different from the 1st:

On the Menu bar...

TOOLS.

Opens a bar and click "ATS Uploads" (highlighted)

That opens the ATS Media page for you.

On left, the box says (in green, with black background) "SELECT IMAGE FILE"

Just know the path on your computer hard drive to the image you want, find it in the file directory...you know the drill..

(EDIT) Ah, I see success ^ ^ ^ ^

Yes, again quite a typical and very normal bunch of contrails that persist, since on that day the conditions up there were right for them to be made, and to remain. They are really artifical, there is NO denying that fact. No one ever denies that they are not man-made.

It is just, that they are merely cirrus clouds (yes, "LuxorDelphi"...."cirrus aviaticus" type clouds.......

LOL I would prefer to snap some photos and video and post them here, anything that I can show anyone from the ground that would change their minds? I can pretty much go anywhere and take pictures of anything. But I don't think it would be worth the effort if no one is interested in seeing the reality of it.

They are perfectly normal contrails mate, this time of year is ripe for them to form like that.

Thanks, I figured it out, just didn't realize it had changed from the previous set up.

Hope the resolution of the photos is ok and allows you all to clearly see the contrails... or chemtrails - whichever you prefer.

I always look for the pollution side of this discussion, stumbled across this video I think both sides would get a laugh out of. I would have sold and moved, not hung around and film it.

I have not read every chem-trail thread. I also am not a scientist in this field. I would need it broken down for me in more than just general terms I want to understand how the engine creates such a long vibrant trail that seems suspended for quite a long time. I imagine it could be explained but all I have seen in my limited reading of these threads is "It's cold, the engine makes an ice crystal trail, and there are a lot of planes up there all the time." That doesn't really tell me much. It sorta sounds to me like "just go back to sleep". I am not a chem-trail researcher and I have not dug into all the theories on the subject. However, I look up and I see my sky proliferated with these artificial strait clouds crisscrossing everywhere and I can't help but worry. It's the part of me that doesn't trust our government. Even if they think something is in our best interest, the classify it. Its a trust issue for me. They think we are stupid and we don't need to worry (mom and dad know best). I would not put it past them to do it and keep it a secret. Maybe they think they are protecting us from some threat by spray something concocted in a lab. Maybe they are fooling with the weather. Maybe it is just jet exhaust. However, until someone can personally explain the all the details of what I am seeing up there and prove to me that it is a just jet exhaust, I will continue to worry and think of it like I do the fluoride in the water.

I understand that they may be normal contrails, but they are not perfectly normal for this area or this time of the year. I have watched the skies here for nearly 25years and have never witnessed contrails of this nature.

I am not claiming they are chemtrails, or even a sinister motive behind them. I am simply saying they are not normal for this area, regardless of the date and there seems to be no explanation for them to suddenly appear in the flight pattern seen in the images - as in a new airline carrier flying into any local airports.

I will keep a close eye out in the region for the next few weeks, as if they are perfectly normal and normal for this time of year, they should be viewable most days that have clear skies and this should allow me to collect more photos in the coming days and weeks...
