Is the internet screwed up today?

anyone else having problems with the net today? I can't seem to go anywhere and when I do all I get is "This page cannot be displayed"

I got here by hitting the refresh button multiple times and it's worked fine since i got here but most other sites cannot be accessed.

I think my computer may be messed up. Does anyone know why my browser will not show *.gif and then, all of a sudden, it magically works, WTF!

Is there a setting that makes the browser not open pictures for some reason?

update your anti-virus software and give it a run...

Check your security options in your browser, on the gifs...

yes, myself and alot of other people are having problems with most message boards and websites, this seams to be the only message board i can get on..

strangely enough, yes! major website were down for me yesterday (google, dogpile,yahoo, etc.) while i could still view smaller sites like this one and livejournal .. i thought it was comcast but other people that dont use comcast seemed to have the same problem too. and on kazaa, i was dloading as fast as a mofo!!! i was like holy jesus! this is fast! but i still couldnt get to hotmail, etc. is t his what happened to you as well?
