Hello all, didnt find this thread anywhere on ATS so as the tittle states one more species is no longer roaming on this planet.

blogs.scientificamerican.com...

This is one of the many articles out there. Unbeliavable what some people do to get some profit. Wanted to once see one of these rhinos but I suppose now it is another thing ammongst many that will be impossible to achieve.

I was furious as soon as I read the title in the recent posts.
Another one of a hundred species made extinct today thanks to us!

Damn humans.

I've always hated poachers of any kind.

Drives me mad, how is this still happening?

While the last javan Rhino in Vietnam may have been killed, there are still some left in indonesia, not many mind you but a few are still left.

Just thought I would post as your topic headline is a little misleading.

An adult female Javan rhino was shot and killed in a Vietnamese forest last year—leaving just one wild population left of the species in the world, a group of fewer than 50 individuals in a small park in Indonesia.

Ok, maybe I should have put the specific type. The subgroup in Vietnam is different than the one in Indonesia. So almost the same but there it is.....almost.....
