No offense but going off of your posts in this thread you seem to have a problem with discerning the meaning behind what people say. I never once said anything about ANY holiday being safe. I was simply questioning your seemed belief that Halloween is the most UN-safe. No holiday is safe. Every holiday is subject to shootings, theft, and assault. Every holiday sees an increase in crime. Okay, maybe not every, I have yet to look into Easter crimes. But Christmas, new years eve, Halloween, thanksgiving, all dangerous.

I agree ..lets not take this thread off topic..and lets just say.. the halloween scenario definitely helped these two crimes be executed.

I highly doubt the door would have been opened to someone wearing a mask..had it not been halloween.

I may have trouble discerning what people may say at times.. but not to the degree you suggest on this thread.

I don't know of any town that has trick or treating after 8 or 9 pm.

She opened her door at 10pm ....

Not by any means saying she deserved what happened to her, but for God's sake people, use some common sense from time to time.

Jeesh, stop being a victim hater and instead fight back at the real perpetrators, you know, the one who committed the actual crime.

Hate to be the breaker of bubbles, but we get kids knocking on our door till almost midnight some years and other years all is quiet very early. I suspect it depends if Halloween is on a school night or not, and if the weather is very cold or not.

Here is a the top 6 dangerous holidays and Halloween is not on it.

1.Memorial Day
2.New Years
3.Thanksgiving
4.4th of July
5.Labor Day
6.Christmas

Another website lists the 4th of July as the most dangerous. It seemed that one is looking at transportation accidents only while one is looking at all forms of accidents and crimes.

Harm None
Peace
