I'm sorry to interrupt your personal hissy-fit about he prospect of grass not being made out of nylon yarn and stuff, but... your position is really dumb. A quality environment is integral to a quality economy. You can't have a successful economy if your land is barren, your resources are stripped, and your people are sick.
